I throw the covers off of me and am out of bed in a flash. Crushing myself up against the actual wall, I plant my hands firmly against it to keep myself from falling, recalling everything that happened the previous day.

My failed escape.

Blade claiming me.

Blade fucking me.

Blade locking me away.

Iron waking up.

Blade making love to me.

Blade coming inside of me.

Fuck.

“Good morning, little girl.”

Holy shit. Blade’s morning voice is even sexier than his normal voice.

I look at him, but I don’t say anything. Level-headed Sasha is back, but I don’t feel very level-headed at the moment. There are still too many emotions crashing through me.

“Michael…”

“Is with Steve, I guess,” he shrugs.

“And Iron…”

“Is going to be fine,” Blade finishes.

“And I’m…”

“Mine.”

I close my eyes and take a deep breath.

“About that,” I begin.

“Yeah,” Blade interrupts me. “We have some things to talk about.”

I nod in agreement. We have a lot to talk about, like how I can go back and make himun-claim me.

“Are you hungry? You were out by the time I got up here with dinner last night. Do you want breakfast first?”

“I’m… not hungry.”

I’m the exact opposite of hungry. I feel like I could throw up.

“I have to go home. I need to go pick up Michael. I need to stop by the diner because I can’t even remember if I’m supposed to work today. Oh yeah, and thanks to you, I need to go to the drugstore.”

“For what?” he asks, being nosy.

“Plan B, so I don’t end up pregnant. That’s literally the last thing I need right now.”

I watch as he tries to hide the hurt that my comment causes him, but I am not inclined to feel bad about that at the moment.

“Okay, but why don’t you come back over here so we can talk first.” Blade turns on his side and props his head up in his hand while patting the mattress next to him.
