Face flushed, heart slowing its frenetic beat, I looked around us to make sure there were no strange glances our way.
“I can’t believe I just did that,” I said, still high from the danger.
“I thought I told you to crawl,” came Master Shay’s chastisement.
“Sir, I wasn’t sure—”
“Never fail an order again.”
My clit ached deliciously. “No, sir, I won’t.” I reached for my glass of wine, taking a long sip as a chaser to steady my nerves.
Shay reached for my skirt and his palm slid toward my sex, his finger caressing me there, as though testing my wetness.
“You performed to your master’s satisfaction. Other than failing to crawl, you did well.” His fingers brushed the swollen tenderness, spiking my arousal.
I widened my thighs. “What do I get as my reward, sir?”
He removed his hand. My clit pined for his touch to return.
“How do you assess your performance?”
“I pleased the couple and I was obedient, sir.” I’d risked everything to do what he’d ordered.
I could feel my face grow warm again. I didn’t want to look that way now, to see Brando and his girlfriend having second thoughts about what I’d done.
Shay clicked his fingers to get my attention. “You were still disobedient.”
“If I’d have crawled—”
The waiter placed an ice bucket on our table which held a bottle of champagne.
“From the gentleman, sir,” he said, glancing to the booth opposite.
“Pour two glasses,” Shay said to the waiter.
The man proceeded to pop the cork and then filled two flutes with golden champagne. It bubbled and sparkled in the tall, delicate glasses.
“You may go,” Shay told him, handing me one of the flutes.
The waiter scurried off.
Shay could be savage. I saw that now, with each word and each gesture of authority.
He’d subdued me by proving my powerlessness.
How did I get away with giving head in the middle of a busy restaurant?
Maybe I hadn’t.
Maybe everyone here was too embarrassed to look my way.
“Master, I want to please you. Show you I’m capable of anything you ask of me.”
“I’m not sure that’s true,” Shay chided, taking a sip of champagne.
I’d more than earned that expensive drink for him.
“I know this much,” I told him. “You won’t ask anything of me I’m not capable of.”
