“Yes, afterwards.”
I pretended to pout. “You say I have control back.”
“You do.”
“I get to decide then.”
“Tonight, we talk. That’s it.”
I removed my shoes and then turned and sprinted back through the door, feeling the rush of excitement, the adrenaline of being daring and decadent.
I spun around to see Atticus having joined me on the other side of the door, staring at me with an amused expression from the end of the hallway.
He shook his head as if to say, “What are you doing?”
“I have my power back!”
“Maybe I spoke too soon.” He laughed and came after me.
“This is what it means to empowered,” I called out. “To make a decision that makes me happy.”
I’d made it back to the foyer, and noticed an ornate door that promised all kinds of mysteries beyond it.
Atticus caught up. “The dungeons. Once inside only God knows what I’d do to you.”
I scurried towards the door and turned to glance back at him with a seductive smile.
“No.” He folded his arms.
“Why?”
“Because I’m calling the shots right now. Aren’t you hungry?”
“Hungry for you.” I beamed at him.
I nudged the door open and found myself standing at the top of a spiral staircase.
I was insidehisworld.
I descended the flight of steps, soaking in this experience of a luxurious setting that was both indulgent and sophisticated, andI soon made it to the bottom of the stairs. It led me to a hallway with red lighting, lined with doors. These had to be the dungeons.
Atticus was behind me. “Careful which one you choose.”
Time slowed, allowing me to savor every moment in his presence.
He followed me along with an air of fascination.
I paused halfway down the hall and turned to face him, gesturing for him to choose a chamber.
Finally, he relented, glancing at a door on his left.
I approached and, like the gentleman he was, he opened the door for me.
“Take a look,” he said. “Then we leave.”
The chamber exceeded my expectations. It was a sanctuary carefully curated to seamlessly facilitate a calm possession of the submissive.
The décor enveloped me in an ambiance of sensuality, softly illuminating us in its dim lighting that accentuated the allure of the space.
