Decades ago…

Jalissa’s screams sounded like melodies from hell. She thought this was the beginning to her happily ever after, but this was the start of a never-ending nightmare. Everyone who surrounded me in my everyday life, thought of me as some weak servant. Soon, I’d be able to live out my days next to the true love of my life and take my rightful place on a throne that was rightfully mine. If it wasn’t for me or my family, Impurity wouldn’t be in the powerful position that he was in now.

I knew my place. I submitted happily to the devil of a man that I fell hard for since we were kids. I don’t know why Impurity saved Jalissa. I figured that she would only be around seasonally and that he’d kill her or sell her organs to gain profit; instead, I started to witness his black eyes shine with something that I never saw before in them… Love.

The audacity of this bitch to smile through her tears at me while one of the house nurses wiped at her sweaty forehead.Bitch, I hope you die while giving birth.I thought to myself as I smiled down at her, reaching for her hand to hold.

“Where is Impurity? Is he home? He promised me that he wouldn’t miss the birth of our baby.” Jalissa cried out as another contraction hit her.

“Everyone out! I need a word with the Missus.” I raised my voice speaking to the nurses.

Jalissa’s eyes widened as she gripped my hand tighter. I offered her a reassuring squeeze. Once the room cleared out, I gripped her hand in a death grip. I took pleasure in watching her caramel face turn rosy red. She struggled against the tight grip that I had her in as I leaned in close to sneer at her.

“One hundred million to disappear out of Impurity’s life. He just became Mayor, and your past will ruin his entire reputation. You’re trash, undeserving of his presence. He only loves power and money. Whores are useless to him.” I gritted, releasing her hand that turned.

“He’s ashamed of you. He’ll never flaunt you, show you to the world like he does me. Impurity and I are in love; he’s my savior. No amount of money will make me turn my back and run from him. I’ve accepted the real him because, beyond his darkness, I see a light that shines through him and into me,” she said through baited breaths.

“Very well, worthless bitch. You’ll get to see the real him soon. Perhaps, tonight when that baby comes out of you. He’s never wanted kids! You think I give a fuck that you are aware of Impurity and my relationship? If you were to ever utter a word about it, he’ll cut out your organs and sell them to the highest bidder!” I spat, as I looked down at her with pure hatred and disgust.

She rolled her eyes and screamed at the top of her lungs. Jalissa’s face twisted in agony as her back arched off the bed. Finally, the doctor followed by nurses walked back in.

“I see the head, Mrs. Decebal, I need for you to give me a big push!” The doctor coached her.

Jalissa panted and cried; my attention went to the door that creaked open. My black knight stepped in with darkness circulating around him. Impurity’s dark eyes were cold and hard set on Jalissa. I savored the look of contempt that covered his face. He shut the door behind him as Jalissa called out to him. Ignoring her pleas, he pressed his back against the door with his lips pressed into a thin line. I loved how Impurity was hard to predict, just when you thought that you had him figured out, he did the complete opposite.

He didn’t have to acknowledge me to know that I was in the room. I’d never leave his side; my family took him in after his parents got murdered in their sleep. Impurity was authentically a dark soul. Since a kid, his dominance and power reeked from his very pores. His presence was like a storm, dark and heavy with a force that I could not escape… I never wanted to be freed from him. There was something primal in the way he moved through the world with no worries. Each word he spoke dripped intoxicating venom; each syllable twisted with menace that only I could understand.

I was ensnared by his rage, captivated by his power. When it was dark and nobody was looking, I caressed and touched parts of him that no one was allowed to touch. The danger attached to Impurity pulled me in deeper, there was beauty in all of his chaos. I knew that he was incapable of love. I often tricked my brain into believing that he had it for me. What Impurity had for me was a twisted obsession, a mutual addiction. I clutched on to him because he was my lifeline. Without him, I was nothing.

“There he is!” The doctor shouted with joy.

I took one step and saw the baby’s head poking out of Jalissa. I looked over toward Impurity, just as he took a couple of steps forward, his heavy boots thudded against the tiled floor. I noticed blood covering his black fingertips and realized he was still locked into a zone. A zone that I called dangerous; he didn’t bother to clean himself before coming in here.

His expression hardened with every scream Jalissa let out. No sympathy, no care in his stare, only disdain as he crossed his arms over his broad chest.

“Push him out, Lissa.” His voice boomed, and on cue, the doctor tugged and pulled out an eleven-pound baby giant from Jalissa’s tainted pussy.

“Congratulations, Impurity,” I said above the baby screams.

He didn’t turn to acknowledge me. Impurity turned his back and walked toward the door.

“Impurity, wait! Aren’t you going to hold him. We still need to settle on a name that suits him.” Jalissa sounded exhausted but was still desperate for Impurity’s attention.

“Fuck that baby,” he stated cooly over his shoulders.

“I’ll be back, in an hour…maybe two hours. Say your farewell to it in advance,” he spat.

Jalissa gasped; tears instantly ran down her perfect sun-kissed high cheekbones. She spoke through trembling lips. I bit into my bottom lip to keep from smiling.

“Wha–what? Impurity! What do you mean? This is our baby, you were excited… I–I don’t understand, baby. Please, help me understand.” She choked on her own spit as Impurity spun around swiftly.

“You stated twelve months ago that you wanted to see what it was like to carry a baby, what it felt like to be a mom. I let you experience that, and now it’s over. He’s hideous, looks like he’s been burnt by the demons inside of me. I refuse to look at it, hold it, nor raise it. Say your farewells, as I stated seconds ago. It’s time to get back to catering to me, and only me.” He gave her his ass to kiss and marched out of the room.

I got so excited; my world started to spin as my excitement drowned out her loud wails along with her new bastard baby. I took a seat in the corner of the room, thinking about making this room mine once Impurity cleared this room out from all of the medical equipment that he bought for Jalissa’s comfort. There was no point in me telling her ‘I told you so’.

The proof was in the pudding. Impurity would never disappoint me, although he had pained me physically and mentally.
