I tried to pull my hand away.

He tightened his grip, bringing me closer to him. Before I knew what was happening, his lips were on mine in a passionate kiss.

I stilled, unsure of what I should do, but the longer he kissed me, the harder it became to overthink, and I soon found myself giving in to the kiss.

“And what the hell do you think I am? Baby, you’re a walk in the park compared to me. I want you. I am fucking obsessed with you. And if you ever try to run away from me, I will hunt you down. There won’t be a place in this godforsaken world where you can hide from me. Got it?”

My laugh was watery. “Yeah. I got you.”

“I’m serious,” he said.

I laughed harder.

He shook his head and looked over at the bar, exhaling loudly. “Let’s get this over with so I can take you home and lose myself inside you.”

I sighed at that, and the light across the parking lot illuminated his face. He was smiling at me with soft eyes.

“Sure you don’t want to ditch this whole thing?” he asked.

I shook my head. “No, I miss Blue. And I want to see everyone.”

Blue wouldn’t be coming by until later in the evening because of work, but I would see him there soon enough.

He made an exasperated sound. “Fine. Let’s go. But you owe me for this.”

“What do you want?”

He shot me a devilish smile. “To tie you up and eat your‌ bare pussy until you’re dripping and begging me to stop. Yeah?”
