But they were pissing me off, and it had been a while since I painted my hands with another man’s blood.

I was feeling restless.

Dominic signaled to the two men nearby. “Get them out.”

We turned to get back to our table when a beer bottle was thrown in our direction. It hit the wall near us.

We both stopped and turned to the fuckers.

Varying degrees of fear and unease hit their faces, but none of them left.

Why?

It felt almost deliberate that they came to pick a fight with us.

The leader of the group turned his eyes to me.

I raised one eyebrow, and he took a step back before he thought better of it.

I smiled.

I would have left these fuckers alone and let the club brothers deal with ’em, but now I was pissed.

“I gave you a chance to leave,” Dominic said, his voice low. He signaled with his head, and two men came out and barred the door.

No fucker was getting out of here unless we allowed it.

The men in the back of the group looked behind, shifting when they realized what was happening.

“Now,” Dominic said. “You don’t get to leave.”

The leader of the group threw the first punch.

He clipped Dominic in the jaw, eliciting a laugh from the man before Dominic hit him back, causing the weak fucker to fall to the floor, hitting the chairs nearby.

He looked up at us, cupping his nose.

I didn’t know who attacked us.

I didn’t give a fuck, because when a stupid fucker made his way in front of me, I knocked him out before I moved to the next.

Chaos erupted out in front of us, and I watched as Roman bashed the head of one against the wall.

The fucker went down.

I turned to a big one.

The biggest of the group, but not bigger than me. Not faster than me. Not stronger than me.

I gripped his fat neck with both hands and squeezed until his face turned purple.

He reached up and clawed at my hands, drawing blood.

I shook him as I squeezed, and his knees gave out.

Pulling away, I didn’t give him a chance to take in a big breath of air before I threw an uppercut punch that had his head bouncing back and blood squirting out from his face.

I looked down at him in disgust as he collapsed on the floor.
