“Take these pieces of shit home and dump them in front of their parents' houses. And if they say anything about what happened tonight, death will come earlier for them. I am being generous right now by giving them a chance to run. I won’t be so generous if they open their big mouths. Got me?”

Josh nodded. “G-Got you.”

I didn’t bother looking at them as they were carried off to the car they came in.

One brother drove them away while the other two followed on their bikes.

I turned to Edger and the unknown man.

Edger shoved the man forward until he fell face-first to the ground near my boots. “This was the fucker that visited Ozzy’s trailer.”

“Really?” I asked mildly.

Dominic moved beside me and took in the shaking man.

I didn’t bother asking him about his relationship with Ozzy or why he was so interested in Lainey.

He would be telling me everything I needed to know sooner or later.

I took in his smaller frame.

He was smaller than most men, and I estimated he would barely reach up to six feet in height. He was wearing a form-fitting short-sleeved shirt, and I could see a patch of ink near his biceps, hidden beneath.

“Take off his shirt,” I said to Edger, already having a pretty good idea who this fucker was working for and who had been infiltrating our city.

Edger pulled the shirt off the man to reveal a tattoo that depicted of a red face Devil, with horns and fangs, surrounded by black smoke.

“What the fuck?” Dominic muttered.

What the fuck was right.

“I thought you took out the entire club,” Kai said, coming up to my other side as we took in the man.

“I did.”

I took them out three years ago when three of their high-ranked officers ran into Roman near Big Bear Lake and put their hands on him. I didn’t remember much about that time, only that I had gone on a bender.

I wanted to annihilate the club completely, not giving them a chance to migrate to Texas after the King’s Men drove them out of California.

The Devil Sinners shouldn’t still be around, and they shouldn’t be working with Ozzy Reyes.

The man laughed and spat on the ground. “Fuck you. The Devil Sinners are thriving, and we’re going to come back and get back what is ours. We’re going to take everything from you. This kingdom… your women. They’ll be screaming out your names when our club brothers take turns on their used up pussies, just before we sell them to a brothel—”

The breath was knocked out of him when Dominic pulled his leg back and kicked the man in the stomach.

I bent them and pulled him in close to me.

Our nose touched and I asked him, “What do you want with Lainey?”

He spat on my face. I didn’t react to that.

“That bitch is mine. Ozzy promised her to me, and you think you can just take her—”

I shoved him to the ground and kicked his face.

He groaned.

Dominic sneered at the man in disgust. “Fucker talks too much. And we’ve been here for too long. Take him back to the warehouse along with the group of men who disrupted the bar. I’m sure this was the fucker who paid them to distract you.”
