He smiled a little and moved back. “Floor’s all yours.”
I nodded and turned to my newest target.
I might have let Dominic have his fun, but we both knew this fucker was mine.
He took what belonged to me.
He scared her.
He touched her.
And the moment he laid eyes on her was the moment he signed off on his death sentence.
Robbins peeked at me, using the eye that wasn’t swollen shut. His throat bobbed up and down as he tried to swallow.
“Please. I d-don’t know anything. Just kill me already. I don’t have anything to tell you!” he cried out.
I looked him over, letting the disgust show on my face. “I haven’t even touched you yet, and you’re already begging for death?”
He shook his head as tears, snot, and blood dripped down his face.
“Who’s leading the operation in Del Paso Heights?” I asked, walking up close to him and pulling on his hair so that he was looking at me. I knew he was surprised we knew about that.
He shook his head. “I don’t know. I just do what Lincoln tells me to.”
I turned to Kai at the name, and the kid nodded, already having information on the bastard.
“But he’s not the one in charge?” I asked, already knowing the answer.
Robbins shook his head. “No, he was a road captain when Mace was in charge. He was the one who gathered the r-remaining brothers after you took out all our officers. That’s all I know. I-I’m just doing as I am told, please.”
“What does Lainey have to do with all this?”
He took in a stuttered breath, and I narrowed my eyes at him.
“Don’t fucking lie to me, or the last moments of your life will be much bloodier than they have to be.”
He cried as I’d confirmed what we both knew.
Tyler Robbins would not live to see another night.
“She was the p-prize. Ozzy promised her to me, to the club, if we worked for him.”
“What does he get out of this deal?”
It damn well better be a good one, considering the piece of shit was risking the King’s Men’s wrath over it.
“He wants complete control over Del Paso Heights and Parker Homes, along with the interstate between them.”
“To do what?” I asked mildly.
“Run the local prostitution line through there.”
I laughed, making Robbins flinch. “So you’re telling me the fucker risked his life because he wanted power and control?”
“He also hates the King’s Men. He doesn’t like that you guys control the city. And he doesn’t want to p-pay.”
His voice already sounded gurgled.
