I hadn’t used my full strength in the punch, but fuck me, had it been anyone else, and I would have killed them already.

Roman grabbed his jaw but didn’t retaliate.

I turned away from him.

I couldn’t fucking look at him—at any of them.

I knew deep down I didn’t blame him for what happened with Lainey, but he had been here just moments before, and now she was—

Fuck.

I turned around and looked at him.

“I’m not waiting anymore. I’m storming the fucking sewer to where they’re holding the drugs.”

I didn’t fucking care that we still didn’t know who the new president of the Devil Sinners was. All I cared about was getting her back, and since I fucking killed the VP in front of all the assholes around, I was sure the news was already spreading.

Dominic nodded like he knew that was what I was planning on doing.

“I’ll gather the men.”

“You do that, but I’m heading there now.”

“Micah, don’t do anything rash. Wait until I call for backup. We don’t know how many there are—”

I shook my head, cutting him off. “I’m going there now. You should hurry and gather the men if they want to join in on the fun. Because by the time they get there, I doubt there would be anyone left alive for them.”

He let out a frustrated sigh.

“I’ll go with you,” Roman said, walking up beside Dominic.

I looked at him and nodded.

I didn’t fucking care if I had to storm inside the place by myself.

One way or another, I was getting my girl back.

We hidbehind a nearby building and watched as one fucker opened the manhole and went down below.

The dark helped cover me, Roman, and the ten brothers with us. We stayed low until the fucker disappeared and I was sure no one else was around.

Dominic was with Kai as they searched the dark net for any signs of her.

A part of me wished they wouldn’t find anything because if they could find her in the dark net, then—

I shook my head.

I couldn’t even think about that now.

I made a move to follow when Roman stopped me with one hand on my shoulder. I turned to him. I couldn’t make out his expression in the dark, but I caught sight of the white of his eyes as he looked at me.

“Can we talk about this before you do something like storm into the viper’s den?”

“There’s nothing to talk about. We’re gonna kill every fucker in sight except for one. I will get her back.” I cupped the back of his head and pulled him in closer to me. “And you’re gonna help me. You’re gonna have my back, yeah?”

He didn’t say anything for a moment, then he nodded. “I have your back.”
