The second would be the supplier. The man he called the Grim Reaper.

“Keep Bianca close. She’s just said goodbye to her privacy.”

Until the threat was resolved, I wasn’t taking any chances with Bianca’s safety.

Nikolay made a small noise of approval in the back of his throat, nodding. I’d fucking known he would agree with me. He would do the same fucking thing had this been Catalina.

“I doubt it will be any hardship, man,” Nikolay said, smiling a little.

I briefly narrowed my eyes at him before I relaxed my features.

He laughed.

The bastard was just trying to get a rise out of me.

“Exactly what I would expect from the kingpin of the Michoacán Cartel.”

I would have answered him, but a sudden commotion came from outside.

We all tensed and turned to the door as it pushed open, and what I fucking saw lit the rage that was already inside me.

A big fucker had his dirty paws on Bianca, one on her shoulder and the other wrapped around her middle.

“I found her listening outside,” he said, his eyes moving to Damien.

This man belonged to him.

“Let. Go,” I demanded, making sure there was no mistaking the threat in my command.

The bastard’s eyes widened, and he stepped back but didn’t let go of her. He drew her back with him, making her lose balance. The fluffy white wedding dress didn’t help.

She fell on the floor in front of us, a terrified expression on her face.

Fucking hell.

I rushed forward and helped her up, and she recoiled from my touch as soon as I got her on her feet. The look on her face wasn’t the same as it had been when we were on the dance floor.

She looked downright frightened and angry.

“Mi cariño—”

She shook her head, trying to get away from me.

Fuck.

She had heard the entire conversation. I would have to deal with that later. I turned to the man. He took a step back but smartly held still when I took another step.

If he made me chase him, he wouldn’t fucking like it. I would risk twenty years of friendship with Damien and kill thebastardowith my own bare hands.

Instead, I punched the big fucker, throwing all my weight into it. Blood gushed from his face, and he fell to the floor with a groan.

I turned to Damien. “This is my consideration since he’s your man. You’re gonna deal with him?”

“Of course,” Damien said smoothly. He had been doing something on his phone when I punched the man, and now the doors burst open once more with two other men coming in. “Get him out of here.”

The man didn’t make a sound as he was dragged out, and Damien walked up to me, putting his hand on my shoulder. “He will be dealt with properly, brother. You have my word. But you should check on your frightened bride. We’ll head back out to the reception and make sure everything is going smoothly.”

And with that, they all left the room, closing the door behind them and leaving me and Bianca inside.
