I let one eyebrow raise when she trailed off. “When my brother was watching us?” I asked. “Is that a hard limit? Did you not like it?”
I already knew the answer. The way her pussy had gushed from seeing Maverick standing there, I’d say she liked the idea a little too much.
I tightened my grip on her tit. “And don’t lie to me, angel.”
She shook her head, looking off to the side.
“You’re telling me it doesn’t turn you on, even just a little, to think about being shared between me and my brothers?”
“I’m not a toy you can just pass around.”
I squeezed her side for that comment.
“Hey, what the hell was that?” she yelled, moving her hand over it.
“For suggesting that. Sharing a woman with my brothers is different than being passed around like a whore. And, Mila? You are the furthest thing possible from a whore.”
“Then why do you guys do it?”
I didn’t answer her right away. Trying to find the words that wouldn’t put her off on the idea. “Let’s call it a kink. We always knew we liked to share. We like to dominate a woman together, control her, bring her into the heights of ecstasy, tease her… cherish her.” Her breath caught, and a sort of longing filled her eyes. She probably thought this was temporary. That I would soon move on and forget about her. I didn’t tell her that was thefurthest thing from the truth. “It wasn’t like the three of us got together one day and discussed it. It’s just the way things are.”
And I’d seen the way Maverick looked at her. He wasn’t as opposed to the idea as he wished he was, and Killian just needed time to get his head out of his ass long enough to see what I saw.
Mila Hayes would be ours.
“I like the idea of sharing you with my brothers, but don’t mistake that for menotbeing possessive of you, angel. I am, very much so.”
“You sound serious.”
“Deadly.”
Her breath caught, and she turned back to me. “I don’t know what to say to that.”
I shrugged. “Then don’t say anything. Just lie back and enjoy the ride.”
I skimmed my hand down her body and pushed it between her legs. She looked up at me with dilated eyes as I worked to show her just how much enjoyment this ride could provide.
I got backto our room at the hotel in a good fucking mood.
I didn’t know where the fuck Killian was—probably off terrorizing the good people of New Orleans—but I found Maverick sitting in the living room, his laptop open on the coffee table.
He didn’t glance up when I closed the door behind me, but there was tension in the air—the big elephant in the room was why I hadn’t come home last night.
He knew where I’d been. And I wasn’t going to lie about it. I wasn’t some dumb teenager who needed minding.
“Where’s Killian?” I asked to fill the silence. I resisted the urge to shift to my feet when he turned his gaze on me. My brother just had a way about him that made anyone and everyone in the room feel uneasy. And without even having to utter a single word.
“Out east, near the border of Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico.”
I frowned. “Why?”
“Because there is a surprisingly large number of the former members of the Heartless Saints here in New Orleans.”
That shouldn’t have come as a surprise. For some reason, they all migrated here to Louisiana and Texas after leaving the club. What was more surprising was the fact that Daniel had never done anything to stop his members from leaving.
“I want to know what they’re doing now that the news about what happened at the club has spread.”
“Already?” I asked. That was quick. I figured we had a few more weeks before everyone learned the Tiernan family had taken over.
