Silas broke first when he leaned down and kissed the corner of my mouth, helping me sit up and pulling the blanket over my body. I wasn’t cold, but I was grateful for the small gesture. I smiled softly at him as I thought more clearly about his question.

“You want to go on a date tonight?” I asked.

Silas looked at Killian briefly, grinned, and nodded.

“With all of you? Even Maverick?” I hadn’t seen him since the morning he left after spending the night with me. I was both sad and glad at the same time. Glad because I missed Mavericklike crazy but sad because the Tiernan brothers were a lot to deal with at the same time. I was already feeling overwhelmed with both Killian and Silas.

“He’s coming back tonight. So you'll have three of us to deal with, angel,” Silas said, his voice a seductive caress over my skin. I shuddered as he pressed a lingering kiss on my cheek.

I took in a deep breath and tried to hold on to my composure. “But I don’t have anything to wear.”

Killian grabbed my hand, bringing my attention to him. His eyes glinted darkly when he said, “Oh, you don’t have to worry about that, firecracker. I’ll take care of it.”

MILA

It was nearingfive o’clock in the evening, and I was in nothing but a bathrobe. My hair was curled, and my makeup applied to perfection. It had been a while since I dressed up like this. I stared at my reflection, loving the way my hazel eyes stood out against the black of my eyelashes, enhanced by mascara, my fair skin, and the hint of blush I had applied.
