Cecilia and Connor are walking arm in arm. Trevi Fountain is lit up, sparkling, and romantic. Other TOURISTS and LOCALS are wandering around, some snapping pictures on their phones or filming themselves with selfie sticks.

CECILIA

It feels like fate that we met, doesn’t it?

CONNOR

I feel the same.

He leans down and kisses her, gently at first, then deepening the kiss. They break apart.

CECILIA

I’m so happy.

CONNOR

I’m glad, my dear.

CECILIA

I wish my parents didn’t have to die for all this to happen.

CONNOR

How so?

CECILIA

It’s how I can afford this. My inheritance.

CONNOR

You made something good out of something bad. That’s a positive thing.

CECILIA
