Page 94 of Hell to Pay

He held my hips with his free hand, touching his lips to my shoulder while Jude lavished my tits with his tongue.

I rocked against Rafe, my eyes closed, guided by the friction on my clit, lost to everything but them as I reached for the orgasm building at my center until it spilled over all at once, blotting out everything but pure pleasure.

Everything but them.

We came together, Rafe groaning as I cried out, my body wracked with tremors as the orgasm washed over me — through me — washing me clean.

When it was over I dropped my head onto his shoulder, gasping for breath. Then I remembered that we weren’t at the mountain house — we weren’t home — and I lifted my head and opened my eyes.

And that was when I saw the masked woman, staring at me intently through the crowd.

I could tell she was older from the lines around her eyes.

Eyes I recognized.

It was the German woman from theArtemis, the one who’d picked me up from the dock in Folegandros, the one who’d held me prisoner.

Several paddles were raised around the room, the guy from the door typing on his tablet like a man possessed, the room quiet in the moment before the German woman opened her mouth, shouting over the crowd.

“Intruders!”

RAFE

It tookme a second to realize the woman screaming “intruders” meant us.

I was still coming down from my orgasm, as lost in fucking Lilah as I hoped she’d been in letting me fuck her for this twisted-as-fuck crowd. I’d wanted her to forget them but I’d forgotten them too, transported by the sweet heat of her pussy, the tightness of her channel when she’d come.

Now I was on alert, putting my dick back in my pants as the crowd murmured, moving not in concert like they’d done on the way to the ballroom but chaotically, aware that something was up.

The carved black doors flew open and six men streamed in, semiautomatic weapons in their hands.

And they were looking at us, the woman in the back who’d screamed “intruders” pointing right at us.

“Fuck.” Nolan stripped off his jacket and handed it to Lilah, which was a good call because there was no way we were getting the dress back on her body before the guards reached us.

They were halfway to the platform and I grabbed Lilah’s hand and pulled her to the floor, then started running in the opposite direction of the guards. I didn’t know if there was an exit in that direction but running away from guys with guns was always better than running toward them when you weren’t carrying a gun yourself.

Gunfire erupted behind us and the crowd screamed, half of them dropping to the floor like flies.

Nolan and Jude were behind us, shielding Lilah from the gunfire, which was all that fucking mattered.

That and getting her out of this place.

There was no exit at the back of the ballroom, so I skirted the perimeter of the room, using the crowd to make target practice harder for the guards as we doubled back to the big wooden doors. My hands itched for a weapon, but being without one had been part of the deal.

Part of the risk.

“Get to the roof!” Nolan shouted over more gunfire.

The doors were in sight and I had a moment of euphoria. The room made us fish in a barrel, but once we were out, we would be home free. The estate was huge. There were plenty of places to run, plenty of ways to get to the roof.

Then Lilah froze, stopping me cold.

“Wait…” Her gaze was trained on a young woman sprawled on the ground, a thick collar around her neck, attached to a lead held by a wrinkled gray-haired man.

The woman’s mask had slipped in the melee and Lilah’s gaze was frozen on her face.
