As he sang, I listened carefully to the lyrics. It hit me then, why it was the sex on the crypt had been brought up by the band members. Exavier was singing about it. He talked about taking refuge in the womb of the one he loved. Giving her an offering she could not refuse. Laying her out before the gods, marking her forever with his power, his heir. Sanctifying the union with both the living and the dead. Keeping the daughter born from the tainted one for himself for eternity.
The tainted one.
The other Fae had often referred to my father as such. His father was a vampire and his mother Fae. I listened closer as Exavier continued.
He sang about how the Fae felt the tainted one’s daughter wasn’t good enough for the prince of darkness, the man who humans mistakenly labeled a devil when in truth, no such creature existed. He went into detail in regards to his duties of keeping order among the creatures of the night and how if he ever took the throne as King, he would do so with the woman he loved as his anchor or not at all. He was singing about us. About how it didn’t matter that his parents and most of the Fae community thought I wasn’t good enough for him. In his eyes, I was the world and without me, he was nothing.
Exavier’s deep voice seemed to dictate my motions, my responsiveness to him. Not that it needed to. The desire to make us whole was overwhelming.
Exavier made his way back up my body, kissing and singing as he went. The minute he reached my mouth, I felt the head of his cock nudging at my wet entrance. My protest was lost the second his mouth captured mine. He drove himself into me. Plowing until completely buried. He absorbed my cries as he kissed me fast and furiously.
He locked himself deep in me, stopped thrusting and started rubbing, making a circular motion. The action left him pressing against my engorged clit, teasing it, pleasing me. Breaking our kiss, his eyes locked on mine as he picked right back up with singing.
The moment was more than I’d ever hoped for. Having the man I love in me, making love to me while he sang of the very same thing was too much. I gave in to it. My stomach tightened and my inner thighs followed fast. Instantly, my channel fisted his shaft as I hit my orgasm head on.
Exavier drilled hard into me, making my back arch and my body burn as pleasure flooded through me. In a flash, he was pumping, driving himself into me. I felt the sheet slipping as he took me to yet another peak. Grabbing hold of the sheet, I kept his ass covered and dug my nails into his skin to keep my mind on anything but screaming in ecstasy.
He rooted himself in me. Liquid hot fire filled me, collecting in my cervix as I held tight to him. Something was different. This was sex like no sex had ever been. It was then I felt the magik in each of us reach up and take hold of the other. Another rush of pleasure moved through me and Exavier came again, jetting his hot seed into me more.
I thought he’d stop. I thought he’d pull away. He didn’t. No. Exavier kept going. Kept filling me, bringing me on a series of reoccurring zeniths. My head thrashed back and forth as I bit my lower lip to keep from crying out. Exavier was suddenly there, his lips taking mine. He swallowed my cries while he licked the blood from my lip.
Something pinched in my lower abdomen and I cringed at the sharp pain. Exavier broke our kiss quickly and stared down at me with worry etched on his face. The pain came again, this time stronger. Clutching on to him, I waited for it to pass as he stilled inside me.
Suddenly, I became very aware we were surrounded by people. Apparently, Exavier realized it as well. Looking at Pat, he wagged his brows. “So, how was that?”
Pat pulled at the collar of his shirt before wiping his brow. “Th-at…err…will do. I think we can go with the one take. Everyone agree?”
“Holy shit, that was best acting job I’ve ever seen,” Pravat said, sounding a bit winded.
“Acting?” Karlon made a garbled choking sound and just stared at us with wide eyes.
Exavier let a very manly smile move over his face. “Are you sure, Pat? I’d be more than happy to keep going until it’s absolutely perfect.”
Stroking Exavier’s cheek lightly, I winked at him. “If your goal was perfection, then one take will do.”
Pat clapped his hands. “Well then, I think we can wrap it up for the night.”
Chapter Fourteen
I saton the edge of the crypt where Exavier and I had made love, watching as he and his band mates played around with their instruments. I wasn’t sure if it was Exavier using his power to persuade Pat and the crew to take off or if Pat just needed air after our little show on the crypt. Either way, we now seemed to have the place to ourselves.
There was something to be said for hanging in a fake graveyard in the middle of the night and watching hunky supernaturals playing with their big boy toys. They sat around on crates and stools, each one doing whatever it was they did. I shouldn’t have been shocked seeing Eion slide up next to Exavier with a guitar on his lap. I knew he played multiple instruments. I also knew he sang too. Seeing them together did make my breath catch.
Exavier tapped his guitar and his foot followed. Eion nodded and began making the same sound. Exavier began to hum and Eion started to sing. The minute I heard the words, my face paled. It was a song he sang to me often about finding paradise in the arms of a woman who wasn’t his own.
It talked about how the relationship defied all logic but controlled his every thought, his every action. The words cut through me as I realized for the first time in my life he’d written it about us. Part of me had known but didn’t want to acknowledge it. It had always been easier for me to keep Eion at arm’s length than let him into my heart.
I sat, silently watching them as they played. Exavier took over lead vocals and Eion went to humming in the background. Exavier’s blue gaze locked on me and I saw nothing but love there. They drew it to a close and Eion patted Exavier on the back.
“Remember the night we wrote this? We were having some serious women trouble.”
Exavier winked at me. “Yeah. So, you ever get over that girl?”
“It’s weird but I can’t even remember her name, so I guess so,” Eion said, laughing as he took another drink from the bottle nearest him. “How about you? You ever get over that girl you’ve been writing songsabout all your…” He glanced at me and his eyes widened. “Damn, I see why you’ve been obsessed over her all these years, Xavs.”
Tipping his head slightly, Exavier cast a sexy smile my way. “She was worth every second of the wait, Eion. Every second.”
Pravat snorted. “If you start going on about how much you love her again, I’m going to kick your ass and tape your mouth shut.”
