I chuckled, agreeing with her before calling the hotel receptionist and asking them to switch my suite with Felix. I thanked them and went to the room where Felix was staying before glaring at the nice interior, spacious bed, and clean bathroom. There was no odor.
Asshole.
My heels were hurting, but I needed to talk to Felix before I called it a night. My head was feeling heavy, and I should order room service and eat something, but I needed to talk. I opened the room door and found a familiar handsome face in the hallway, leaning on the wall, massaging his temples.
“Caleb?” I asked, my voice low. “Are you lost?”
He looked up, relief washing over his face. “I couldn’t find my keys…” His pupils were dilated. “But thank fuck, I found you.”
Most of the guests were staying at the hotel so of course, Caleb would stay at the hotel as well. I don’t know why, but I found it extremely hot that his room was just across from mine.
I frowned at the thought and found him looking at my room, and he asked, “Is this your room, ma’am?”
“Y-yeah.”
“Good.” He pulled me inside and closed the door behind him. I raised my eyebrow at him, but I didn’t push him away. It felt nice having his big, warm hands on my arms. This close, I could smell the hint of sexy cologne?—
Sexy?
“What happened?”
He pursed his lips and kneeled, making my legs wobbly. “You’re stumbling. Let’s remove these for now.”
For now?
“Yes,” I agreed, my eyes feeling heavy. I didn’t care that I had a young man in my hotel room even though I didn’t know his last name.
I licked my lips, seeing his hands being gentle with the straps of my high heels and removing the shoes. He was taller than me, and even though he was kneeling, his face reached my stomach, making me feel self-conscious. When he looked up at me from below, my heart pounded in my ears.
Is it just me or does the hotel room felt hot all of a sudden?
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, still on his knees.
“What are you apologizing for?” My voice was getting breathier. Why do I feel so warm and tingly? I felt like my skin was getting sensitive by seconds and having his handsome face inches away from my?—
“I made a mistake.” His eyes dropped and voice was darker. “What I gave you wasn’t chocolate.”
“Hm?”
Why does he have soft, shiny, thick hair? I wanted to touch it. Caress it. Tug it when?—
“It was an aphrodisiac.”
“Huh?” I blinked at him.
“We ate aphrodisiac. By mistake.”
I stared at him, dumbfounded. He stood up and when I tried to take a step back, my legs trembled, losing my balance. I was going to fall backwards.
But his strong arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me to his chiseled chest. I felt something hard and cold underneath his shirt, right over his chest.
“Anna, are you okay?” He asked, his voice so close to my ears, his warm breath brushing over my cheek. He smelled so good. And he felt so muscly?—
“Is that hook-up still on the table?” I whispered, staring at his lips. The silver metal hoop glinting on the corner of his lips. My thighs clenched, wanting to kiss and tease it. Taste it. Taste him.
Caleb swallowed. My gaze drifted to his Adam's apple as it bobbed up and down.
I wanted to lean in and kiss it, suck on it, give him a hickey.
