“Damn, girl.”
“Tell me about it. Then someone threw something through the window at my house. I wasn’t there, thank goodness. Anyway, now I’m staying with Ripley, but then his life got complicated too. So, we’re just being careful about where we go until this all gets sorted out.”
The two women sat on the couch catching up for the next twenty minutes, starting with the last time they saw each other a little over four months ago.
About the time they caught up to present day, Ripley stuck his head in the door.
“There you are, baby girl.”
“Hey, Daddy. Gage found an old friend of mine. Come in and meet her.”
After the obligatory introductions were made, Ripley sat on the arm of the couch next to her.
“Olivia says you have a lot going on right now, but I would love to get in a game night before I leave town. I’m here for the next two weeks,” Alley said.
Ripley nodded. “We can work something out. It sounds like there’s some kind of all-day thing here on Saturday. Maybe you could game then.”
Olivia grinned. “That’s right. Gage did suggest putting a game on the schedule. He’s never played either, maybe we can pop your D&D cherries together. Plus, I can think of at least six others who would join in.”
Ripley shrugged. “Set it up, baby girl. But do it later. I came to get you because it’s time to play.”
Olivia’s brows knitted together in confusion. They hadn’t negotiated a scene for tonight. But she wouldn’t say no to playtime with Ripley.
After saying goodnight to Alley, they stepped into the hall.
Faster than lightning, his hand fisted into her hair, and he pushed her face first against a wall, covering her body with his.
Her pulse jumped into overdrive. What did he have planned?
“I know what I want, Olivia. But what do you want?” he whispered in her ear.
Her pussy clenched as she scrambled for an answer.
He jerked her head back and sank his teeth into her neck, kicking her legs apart as he did.
Being pinned against the wall reminded her of another time they’d wrestled in Gage’s living room. Come to think of it, a lot of their sexcapades happened in Gage’s house.
“I want a fight, Daddy,” she whispered.
“Then why the hell are you letting me hold you up against a wall?”
He twisted her hair when she tried to look at him.
“I didn’t know we were going to play like this. You’re not playing fair.”
He pressed his lips to her ear and whispered, “Who said anything about fair?”
Chapter 19
RIPLEYheldOliviaonthe couch in the middle of the dungeon and caressed her hair. “You doing OK?”
She held up the chocolate bar and grinned. “I’m great. And it might not be reality television, but I’m enjoying watching everyone play. It’s been too long.”
“You sure I wasn’t too rough? I feel like I’ve been nothing but rough since we got back together.”
Her nose and forehead crinkled in confusion. “I like it rough, Ripley. Since when do you worry about that sort of thing?”
It was a valid question. He never worried about it before beyond making sure he hadn’t gone past her limits. Maybe it was the danger they were in, but something had him wanting to protect her more than usual. Apparently even from himself.
