“Do you want me to have him kicked out?”

Reva giggled. “You can do that?”

“Since he used my name to get a reservation in the first place, I can do whatever I want. I’m sorry my son is being an ass, Reva. If you want me to have him removed, I will. Or I can call him and ask him to leave.”

“I’m not a spiteful person, Noah. But I appreciate it. No, I think I just want to go to bed and forget this entire day ever happened.”

Noah hummed. “Pass the phone back to Larissa.”

She did as he asked and waited.

“Oh. I’m so sorry, Sir. We had no idea. Of course. We’ll send security right away.”

Reva’s mouth dropped open as she took the phone back from the hotel manager.

“I told you I’m not spiteful, Noah.”

He chuckled, and it sent a little chill up her spine. “You might not be, but I am. And I don’t like that he hurt you. If I’m right about the woman, he’s got Monica Parrish up there, and he knows how I feel about her.”

Reva shook her head. Family drama was weird.

“Thank you for helping with the room, Noah. It means a lot.”

“It’s nothing. A car will be waiting at seven in the morning to take you to a private jet. I’ll have movers arranged to help you with your stuff. I’ve got an apartment you can use until you find something else.”

Reva’s head was spinning. “This is all too much.”

“Stop talking, Reva. And go get some sleep.”

“You stupid bitch, you called Noah? Are you fucking him?”

Reva whirled at the sound of his voice. “Seriously, Parker? You’ve been cheating on me for years and you have the nerve to ask me that? Go to hell. It would serve you right if I were fucking him. But I’m not. He’s just a better man than you are.”

Noah chuckled in her ear. “I wouldn’t go that far. I’m a bastard too. But I’m not a bastard to innocent people. Hang up the phone now, Reva. We’ll talk again tomorrow.”

The phone went dead, and Reva watched with some semblance of satisfaction as a hotel employee loaded Parker and his mistress into a cab.

“Here’s your key, Ms. Calhoun. So sorry about all your troubles. Dr. Jasper says anything you need is to be charged to his account.”

She took the envelope and looked at the room number: P25762. It was a penthouse suite.

In the room, she looked around in awe. When she spotted the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, she squealed and immediately prepared to use it.

Her phone buzzed as she was stripping out of her dress.

Noah:Goodnight, Reva. I’m glad you called.

She smiled as she tapped on the screen.

Reva:This room almost makes up for being dumped so dramatically. The tub is amazing and this view… I can’t thank you enough.

Her phone dinged again.

Noah:The view from the tub is my favorite Aside from maybe a beautiful woman in said tub.

Her mouth fell open. Was he hitting on her? It was inappropriate. But flirting with Parker’s dad seemed like the ultimate payback.

Reva:I can imagine a man like you has seen a lot of nice views.
