Her mouth fell open. “Are you serious?”

He switched to the back camera on his phone and pointed it out the window. She wasn’t just in front of the White House, they were inside the gates, and it looked like he sat less than a hundred feet from one of the entrances.

“Holy shit, that’s hot,” she breathed.

He let out a loud laugh as he turned the camera back to his face. “Thank you for trusting me tonight, Kenzie.”

“Thank you for giving me that experience.”

He rubbed the back of his neck. “Unfortunately, I have to go and hope that POTUS doesn’t notice my raging boner in the Oval Office.”

“Oh God. I’m sorry.”

“What the fuck are you sorry for?”

She laughed. “I don’t know. It’s a reflex.”

“One you need to break. We’ll work on that. Never be sorry for making me hard, little imp. Now be a good girl and get some sleep. We’ll talk again tomorrow. This is probably going to be a long meeting.”

He blew her a kiss, and then his face disappeared, leaving her alone with her thoughts. Absentmindedly, she pulled the nipple clamps off then howled in pain.

She grabbed her phone to send him a text, but he’d beat her to it.

GAGE:Fuck. I forgot to warn you about taking the clamps off. If you already did it, I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you when I see you again.

KENZIE:I look forward to you making it up to me then.

GAGE:Brat

She giggled at his one-word response. Ever since Kit called her a brat this morning, she’d been thinking about whether that was her role or not. She still wasn’t sure, but it made her happy when Gage called her one, so it was definitely something to explore.

Chapter 12

Kenzie

“How are you feeling about our community, now that you’ve been to a decent club, Kenzie?” Patrick asked as their plane back to New York took off.

She lifted one eyebrow. “That place is way better than decent. It’s amazing. I can’t wait to see Exposure.”

Austin smiled. “It’s a great club. We’ve only been once because we’re so busy, but it’s special. Vastly different from Solitaire, but the same welcoming vibe. Gage is one of the best men in the community. You’re lucky.”

Patrick cleared his throat, and Kenzie giggled.

Austin shook her head. “Such fragile egos our men have.”

“Yeah, I’ll show you fragile as soon as we don’t have guests around,” he threatened.

His phone buzzed, and he lifted it to his ear before Austin responded.

“This is Patrick.”

He frowned and stood. “Ladies, I’m going to take this in the bedroom, so I don’t bore you with work talk.”

He bent and kissed Austin, then walked down the aisle to the private bedroom at the back of the plane.

“Let’s figure out what to do about your logo,” Kenzie suggested, pulling out her laptop.

Austin folded a table down between them and leaned forward to watch while Kenzie opened up her software.
