I disconnect the call and hand the phone back.

“You didn’t ask about Lu,” Holland says as he tucks the phone away.

I shrug. “Fuck if I care.”

Livi chuckles and is wearing a huge damn grin, even if we’re still held captive by what seems to be her biological father.

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

– FALCON –

My arms and legs are burning from spending hours at the gym all through the damn night. There’s no way I could sleep, not in an empty bed. All my life I’ve slept alone. Until Kenz. She entered my life through a text message and has opened up the door to endless possibilities.

First, we faced a fucking death threat, and now she’s been kidnapped by Livi’s father. Who appeared out of nowhere and is some high underground gangster while living an untouchable luxury life as a diamond dealer.

It’s screwed up for my brother’s old lady, having her boat of life rocked through a storm of havoc yet again. Though, this family shit has now pulled my old lady into it as well. I grit my teeth and check the time, like I’ve been doing for all the hours since she was taken. A half-hour, then they’ll bring her back.

I glare at the woman sitting sideways on the chair in the middle of the clubhouse. Lu, Livi’s half-sister. She appears quite relaxed, and I’m sure she is because I saw her slipping out of Macsen’s room earlier today.

“Stop glaring at me,” Lu snaps. “I’ve done nothing wrong. Go twiddle your thumbs somewhere else and wait another half hour. They will be here soon enough. Or not and I’ll gladly remind you of my handiwork you and Heath admired yesterday.”

“Don’t threaten one of my brothers,” Macsen grunts.

Lu swings her legs down and places her feet on the ground to face Macsen. “Or what?”

Macsen crosses his arms in front of his chest. “Quit the attitude too, Lu.”

She looks down her nose at him. “Don’t think you have any say over me just because I let you shove your tongue in my pussy.”

I can feel my eyes widen while I hear my brother murmur beside me, “That was more information than I needed to know.”

Macsen smirks. “Not just my tongue, sweetheart. You shoved that tight cunt up and down my cock all night and begged for more this morning when I rammed it up your tight little hole.”

“I should have waited a few minutes longer before stepping into the damn room,” Thorsten grumbles.

“Limo approaching,” Elric bellows.

I snap my fingers and point in the direction of Jocko.

Thorsten follows my line of sight. “Jocko, no retaliation, understood?”

His eyes are focused on Lu, they have been ever since the fucker woke up from the sedative she gave him. Macsen was put on protection duty, but it seems the two are at each other’s throat instead of cock to pussy, or ass for that matter.

The door bursts open and the first through the door is Kenz. She launches herself at me and I easily catch her. I bury my face into the crook of her neck and breathe her in. Fuck. One night. A couple of hours without her and I was climbing the damn walls.

Her arms around my neck, legs curled around my waist, pussy rubbing against my cock. Everything is a reminder how perfectly this woman fits against me, in my life, and touched my very soul for completion. I keep one hand on her ass, the other I bury in her hair to pull her head back.

I need her mouth on mine and just before impact she mumbles, “I missed you so damn much.”

She groans and I swallow it down. Where I was completely on edge without her near, I now feel utterly calm. She’s the balance of my life in the havoc of living. There is no other way to describe it.

Loud voices bring me back to the situation at hand. I slowly end the kiss and let her slide down my body. Macsen and Lu are going head-to-head while Thorsten is talking to Holland with arm gestures while Livi is standing in between them.

“Shit. We need to somehow defuse the situation,” Kenz grunts and she slips away from me.

Jumping on the table she claps her hands and with it grabs everyone’s attention. “Holland, Lu, it’s been nice but you two should leave. Give my girl some space and we’ll see what the future holds for all of you. Come on, this girl here needs time with my old man because someone felt the need to kidnap me.” She looks at Holland. “Thanks for the hospitality and the nice egg rolls. You know when my birthday is and I’m telling you now not to give me any diamonds. The only one I’ll accept, and will wear, is in the ring Falcon will give me once we’ll marry.” Her eyes find mine. “Right?”

My smile feels natural, and I instantly give her a tight nod.
