But at the moment, Beau didn’t worry about his heart or his head. This time, he let his body make the decision. His mouth attacked hers furiously, not wasting a moment. And Sienna met him step for step, breath for breath, as she reached for his belt.
“No,” he ordered. “You first.” Beau stepped back only to lift Sienna’s shirt over her head as she whimpered, trying for his belt again.
“Beau—”
Beau swallowed down any objection as his hands crept to her back, unclasping her bra and letting it fall to the ground before sliding back around to her jeans. Sienna panted against him, her hands pulling his hair and sliding down his shoulders and arms. But before she could try again to reach for Beau’s pants, he pushed her gently so she fell onto the bed, letting out a small yelp before saying his name again with such wanting his pants grew impossibly tighter.
“Fuck,” Beau breathed out, yanking down her underwear and jeans. His eyes spanned Sienna’s naked body. She was gnawing on her lip, squeezing her thighs together. Beau grabbed her foot, sliding his hand up her silky calf to pry them open. “Don’t ever hide from me.” He left a soft kiss on the inside of her ankle, his lips lingering where he could feel Sienna’s pulse throbbing, even at the farthest distance from her heart.
“You don’t... ” Her croak turned into a sweet hum as Beau glided his mouth up her bare leg.
Beau sank his teeth into the delicious flesh of her inner thigh, humming happily when Sienna let out a yelp and her hands flew to his hair, clutching his head.
“Who says this is for you?” he asked, lifting his mouth and moving so he was a breath away from her center. “Tasting you... ” He licked his lips, feeling Sienna’s eyes on him. He didn’t look away even when she needed to—throwing her head back when his tongue pressed firmly against her. “Watch me. You’ll know real quick thatdrowningin you will always be at the top of my wish list.”
“Beau…”
His name leaving Sienna’s mouth—needy and heavy with want—brought a twitch from Beau’s lap against the mattress. But Beau happily continued to drown and drink in Sienna—her taste, her warmth, the quickening of her breathing, how she went from shyly and nervously hiding to anchoring her hands into Beau’s locks. Her moans and whimpers as she writhed against him were the song of a siren calling him home and when Sienna met her peak, letting go against his tongue, Beau had to reach down and grip himself through his pants, trying to instill patience. He wanted to linger there, his face nestled between Sienna’s legs, lapping, nipping, and kissing until she couldn’t take it anymore.
“Beau, please,” she whined, squirming.
Quickly, he undressed, leaving a heaving Sienna on the bed with an arm thrown over her eyes.
“No, no,” he corrected her again. “Open.”
Sienna’s dark eyes still seeped with desire—a deepened shade of emerald.
“Look there.” Beau pointed at the small window where sunlight broke through the clouds as they flew through the sky. “That’s what heaven looks like.”
Sienna turned her head, and Beau let her take in the view for a minute before he swept across her body, the contact forcing Sienna to close her eyes with an overwhelmed sigh. Her hips jutted against him, but Beau held off, shifting to the side and pressing his face to hers.
“This,” he panted, fighting to keep the rein on his dwindling control. He pressed his lips—still glossy from her—to Sienna’s. “This is what heaven tastes like.”
He let the taste roll off his tongue, feeding it deeper into Sienna’s mouth as she groaned, as if he were pouring the most delicious drink down her throat. Beau’s hand danced up her body to break the kiss, his mouth sliding to her shoulder where the sun illuminated the cluster of freckles on her skin, a tiny galaxy with more stars than Beau could ever want because he finally had everything he would ever need.
He traced the cluster with his tongue before Sienna’s hands brought his face back to hers.
“And this…” Beau tilted his hips, sliding inside her. Her fingers flexed at his back, nails piercing his skin. Beau hissed, halting, leaning his forehead to hers.
“I know,” Sienna breathed against his lips. “I know.”
With a heavy gulp, Beau asked, “Do you, though?”
When he began to move within her, Sienna couldn’t answer with anything other than the small rise of her hips, the lightest of gasps mingling with his more powerful ones. And as Beau’s pace picked up, his own noises intensified, pouring from his mouth with the force of a Hail Mary pass thrown down from the opposite end of the field.
“Fuck, Sienna. I’ll be damned if this isn’t what heaven feels like.”
* * *
With Sienna sleeping heavily on her stomach, Beau remained on his side, propped on an elbow. He reached out, letting his finger dance up and down the valley of her spine, smirking when Sienna shivered and scooted closer to him. He pressed light kisses onto her shoulder, his nose grazing her skin, inhaling her delicate scent. Beau smiled when he recognized that some of his own was mixed in with hers too.
Sienna hummed, mumbling something that got lost in the pillow.
“What did you say?” Beau asked, not bothering to remove his mouth from her skin.A drug. She’s like a drug I’ve been clean of for fifteen fucking years.
“Everyone needs to do that before they die.”
Beau’s tongue began to trace light circles that drew goose bumps. “Do what?”
