“What? No.” Klane looked horrified. “You’ve never been with an omega in heat because scent is your biggest trigger.”

“I know…but right now I need something that’ll push me over the edge.”

“That doesn’t sound pleasant,” Klane laughed.

“Fuck, Klane. I’m serious right now,” Xaine exploded, his frustration morphing into anger. His scent filled the office, making Klane wince.

The beta backed towards the door. His face contorted in pain. Fuck. He didn’t mean to hurt him like that.

“Klane?” Xaine took a step towards him.

“Its fine. I should have been attentive. I’m sorry. I’ll try to find you a service omega in heat,” he said. “It won’t be easy though. You might have to wait.”

“I know,” Xaine said softly. “I’m sorry about… I’m just frustrated, and I don’t know how…”

“Its fine. I understand. I think the drug changed you for the worst,” Klane said. He stared at him as if he was waiting for him to go off again.

Fuck, Xaine rubbed the back of his neck, and almost moaned as a rush of something tingly ran down his spine.

Was this it? Xaine asked himself.

But the feeling disappeared as if it was never there, frustrating Xaine even more.

“I’ll be back soon,” Klane said, rushing out of the office.

Xaine paced around the office for a while before he decided to go to his room and get cleaned up.

In the washroom, he turned on the bathing bot, took off his clothes and tried his best not to look at his flaccid cock. Just looking at it made him want to scream. His mind was telling one thing, while his body was doing another.

So frustrating.

He finished in the washroom and got dressed in his sleeping clothes even though he was going to take them off when Klane returned with the service omega.

That’s if Klane found a service omega in heat for him.

That’s if his body worked at all.

Don’t embarrass me please, Xaine prayed.

But when omega arrived three hours later with Klane, Xaine wished he’d prayed for something else.

Control.

The minute the omega stepped into the house, he could smell him. His sweet scent dragged on his senses, drawing his heat out.

And it burned so good, until it didn’t. Xaine’s claws lengthened to sharp points and his cock filled up, becoming so hard his knees weakened.

“He’s in here.” Xaine heard Klane say. The beta opened the door, and they walked in. Xaine noted the data reader in the beta’s hand, but he didn’t take his eyes off the omega. He looked a little cute, though the omega was too small for his liking.

“He’s a little nervous. Take it slow,” Klane whispered as he held the data reader for Xaine to sign. Xaine pressed his thumb into the allocated slot, not bothering to read the contract. He already knew the deal.

“Okay,” Xaine said. Though he wondered if he would be able to keep to those terms and conditions. He felt like he was on fire.

Klane nodded and walked out.

Thirty minutes later, Xaine wrenched the door open and stepped out of the room. Klane pushed away from the wall he’d been leaning on and stared at him before his eyes fell on the service omega inside the room.

Fuck, Klane said under his breath, but Xaine heard him all the same. He clenched his jaw, hating everything he was. He turned and walked down the hallway, making his way out of the house, his connecter held tight in his hands. His heat burned through his veins, riding him hard.
