I reached out and tugged her right ear, tracing the outline of it until she took a soft breath and gently leaned into my touch. Satisfied that’d she’d given into me, I gave her my previous whereabouts.
“New Rochelle.”
She frowned and I pulled her forehead to my lips
“Just drawing him out, baby,” I murmured, reassuring her there were lines I would never cross. “Never would I ever take that kill away from you.”
That earned me a tight embrace and then she spun on her heels and waved for me to follow.
“Finally where you belong,” I mused, earning Nathaniel’s loopy gaze. “Heard you were looking for me. I’m here now.”
Sheldon had given me a play by play of the short exchange before Blair decided to drug and bring him here.
He was on his knees, arms, one leaking blood, suspended; I took my jacket off and got down in front of him.
“How many more kids do you think you have out there?” I asked, genuinely wanting to know for our sake.
I couldn’t have a bunch of half-siblings looking for a come-up in the future.
He shifted, grunted at the spikes in the cuffs piercing his skin.
“If you move too much, it’ll hurt worse.”
“Fu-Fuck you.”
I smiled and stood.
“Fu-Fuck you too, Nathanielbitch assPhillips. Let’s wake you up.”
The handle of a steel bat hit my outstretched palm and I wrapped my fingers around it, taking the swing to his body immediately after.
He grunted and my smile broadened.
“Living up to your nickname,” I mused, taking another swing. “Or is it the drugs? Hose him down until he’s lucid.”
I stepped back, gaze meeting Blair’s.
“Won’t be much longer, baby.”
By the time Liam cut the hose, Nathaniel was gasping for air with wide eyes that quickly went murderous.
“There he goes,” Blair mused, earning his glare.
I stepped in his line of sight and tipped my head.
“Don’t look at her. This is my time.”
He spit at the floor.
“Fuck you. I’m not afraid of death. Give me what you got!”
I hummed.
“Yeah? Then why you run? You ain’t scared to die but you were too pussy to face the consequences of your actions…” I shrugged. “I’ll let Blair dish out your full punishment but I do have a question for you. When did you learn Caden was sick in the head?”
His gaze shifted as Blair stepped beside me.
“Good question.”
