As the small cabin darkness, the beauty of Charleswood comes alive, it’s like a sparkling jewel. It feels like we are suspended in the air. I lean my head onto my husband’s shoulders and we both take in the view.
“This is beautiful,” I say, rubbing his forearm.
“Yes, it is,” he replies softly. Gazing up into Eryx’s eyes, his grey darkens like an approaching storm.
Without hesitation, he pulls me into his arms. His lips touch my softly. I wanted more. I slyly slip my tongue into his mouth. He gropes my ass, trying to pull me closer. Hunger and need run through my veins.
“Well, folks, looks like we are getting some storm clouds ahead. We are about to return to the airport. Please make sure you are still harnessed,” the pilot interrupts us.
I pull away peering up into Eryx’s face, I kiss him softly again and say, “When we get home.”

ERYX
When we get home? I have nine inches of frustration sitting at the side of my leg. Any other woman I would have taken in the toilets as we landed.
With my wife, I choose to be a better man. I have one more spot then…when we get home.
The doors of the airplane hangar open automatically. It doesn’t take long for me to park the car close to the door. The only light that is on is shining down on a table.
“Um, Eryx? Is this like a mafia orientation for wives? Or are you going to feed Dracula?” Anise’s hands tremble and I open the car door for her.
“Dracula? No, why would I give him this bundle of trouble? He would return you to me and ask for a stake through the heart instead, trust me.” I hold her hand and close the door behind her.
A small slap tickles my shoulder. “He would keep me and savor every supple juicy part of me. And the places he would suck.” She chortles as we make our way closer to the table.
“Then I will definitely have tos take Dracula.” I can feel the jealousy rise for an imaginary character. What the hell is wrong with me?
“What is this? Movie night?” She touches the small projector.
“Press the green button, and look at the wall in front of you. You can sit on the chair at the side if you like.” I squeeze her shoulders and move away from her, giving her space.
“Very ominous, Eryx. I will stand.” She touches the button, and the wall in front of her becomes alive.
“How do you turn this thing on?”a man with a gruff voice speaks, and he is clearly fighting with a camcorder.
“Honey, you have to pull it away from your chest. There we go,”the lady in the background says.
The camera pans out.“Ha, got it. Hi, Anise, we are your parents.”
Her hands begin to shake as she slowly brings it to her mouth. “Dad.”

ANISE
Ican’t breathe. My dad’s face is on the wall, and he is talking to me.
“It’s 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon and your mommy is in active labor,” my father’s voice is filled with mirth. My mom’s face is shining with pain and happiness as she is lying on the hospital bed.
“Cut the camera’s and call the doctor, Ray. She is coming.” The wall goes dark and the screen comes alive again. This time it’s just a video of Dad rocking me slowly by the window in the hospital.
He was such a gorgeous man, deep brown skin, pleasing smile. Suave. My daddy was suave. Green corduroy pants and a white turtleneck. He had style.
“Bring her to the camera so we can get a closer view,” my mom encourages my dad to bring me over.
Tears roll down my cheeks as I look at the man who shares the same DNA that I do. The door opens and three pretty little girls come into the hospital room.
