“I never saw Black Panther or any of the other movies connected to it.”

I blink trying to understand what Rhet was saying “WHAT!”

He laughs over the phone.

“Oh we are making it happen in Tobago.”

“Yeah. Be in my kitchen at 4:30 am our flight leaves at six.”

This is exciting “Ok see you in the morning. Wait which airline we’re flying with?”

“Airline? Yeah, sleep well baby.” Then he hangs up.

RHET

“Ifeel so dumb,” Zeeta says as the plane lands in the airport in Tobago.

I pick up my jacket, which I dumped on the seat beside me.

“Why?” I ask as the plane bumps across the tarmac.

She takes up her bags and beings to search it “Because I thought we were going to be flying commercial like Caribbean Airline or JetBlue.”

“I have never flown commercial. I’m sure it’s nice,” I reply. The more I spend time with her the more I fall in love with her. Everything about her makes me happy. The way she talks, how she expresses herself. Her presence makes me so happy. Part of me is still waiting for the ball to drop, but I don’t want it to.

I look at Zeeta, as she talks, brimming with excitement. God she’s beautiful.

Her hair falls to the side of her as she is digging in her bag. The black t-shirt and jeans combo was a great choice. She looks sexy and causal.

“Finally,” she says as she shows me her sunglasses.

As the plane door opens, I stand “Enjoy your stay Mr. Banner,” the airhostess says as she smiles brightly with her hands behind her back.

As I descend the stairs, a black Escalade sits on the tarmac.

My phone rings in my hand.

“Yeah.”

“Rhet, its Julian. So far we haven’t got any information about Zeeta.” Julian says.

Looking back at the plane Zeeta walks down the stairs holding on tight to the railing.

“Thanks Julian, why did you call to tell me that?” I ask.

“Because I want you to enjoy your trip and to love who you are with,” Julian declares.

I feel relieved that he found nothing on her “Ok keep me updated.”

Hanging up I extend my hand to her “Let’s go.”

She smiles “It so beautiful here. Look at how blue the sky is.”

I pull her in and kiss her on her forehead.

“Mr. Banner, Ms. Woods welcome to Tobago. My name is Ian and I’m your chauffeur” Ian smiles as he opens the back door of the Escalade. His smile is dazzling or maybe the white guayabera shirt that makes it so bright.

As Zeeta and I settle into the SUV, the staff throw our bags in the trunk.
