He was already out of the truck and jogging up the front steps. I had to hurry after him. He let us inside.
“I’ll be quick. I’m hungry.”
I surveyed the rooms as I walked through on my way upstairs. There was no sign Ethan had been here, although I didn’t know what that would look like. His text was only a check-in to see how Caleb and I were doing. I had hoped it had been a goodbye text to tell me he was driving back to New York today.
I rummaged through my clean laundry basket for a matching set of panties and bra and put them on under a sundress hanging on the back of my closet door. I slid into a pair of flip flops and rushed downstairs. I didn’t want to leave Caleb alone for long.
He lit up when he saw me. “I like the dress.”
“Thanks.” I smiled. I stepped into his arms. His lips dragged against my mouth in a slow and sensual way creating more friction. I leaned into him as his tongue darted inside my mouth.
Was that what it was like when you found your soulmate? Or when you thought you had lost your soulmate? Unending desire? Passion? All I could think about was how much I wanted him.
His hands moved to my ass as he snaked under the hem of the sundress. He cupped my cheeks with his palms and squeezed until I was pressed against his body, my hips dipping and grinding against him.
Shit. I felt how hard he was through his shorts.
My eyes opened and I looked at him. “Caleb, what it wrong with us? We’re supposed to go to breakfast.”
“Nothing.” He worked my underwear out of his way, giving his fingers full access between my legs. “There is absolutely nothing wrong with us.”
My knees buckled. I gasped when his fingers touched me. I was sore from the endless rounds of sex last night and this morning, but the motions soothed me.
“Breakfast,” I whispered. “I’m starving.”
He nodded. “I’ll feed you.”
My belly burned with desire. Absolute feral hunger for him. I pushed off his chest and lowered to the floor, unzipping his shorts as I sank, positioning myself on my good knee.
“This.” I swallowed hard, freeing his hardness from his boxer briefs.
My mouth opened and Caleb touched the head of his cock to my lips. I closed my eyes, feeling the silky smoothness graze over my mouth before I inhaled him inside. It wasn’t only his cock. It was his scent. His masculinity rolling off of him. The trust he gave to me. The total position of power I was in with this man’s solid erection in my mouth. God, I felt sexy. Beautiful. In control. I moaned as he began to pump in and out. I licked up and down his shaft, coating him, making him slick, easier to take deeper. He worked his hips, jutting back and forth. I tugged on his balls until he gripped the counter with one arm and the other hand dug into the back of my hair. He paused with a final thrust and I began to suck him with all my might. All my determination. Everything I had to give him until he let his release fill my mouth. I gulped and swallowed and opened my eyes to see the awe in his staring back at me. He popped free from my mouth and tucked himself back in his shorts. He lifted me to my feet.
“Was that what you meant by feeding me?” I taunted.
He took a giant breath. “No, but I like your interpretation.”
I smiled. “Okay. Maybe now we can calm the fuck down and get some real food.”
He laughed, tossing the truck keys in the air. “Maybe. I’m not so sure.”
We walked into the sun and he held the door open for me to climb into the passenger side. I waited for him to start the truck. I waved at John as we backed out of the drive and headed toward the diner in town.
“You do know Nan is going to ask you a hundred questions,” I warned him. Caleb rested his palm against my inner thigh. He had pushed the sundress out of his way.
“Let’s hope my mom talked to her already.”
He pulled into an open spot in front of Reel Time. “I could just go in and get the food. We don’t have to eat inside if you’re worried about too many questions,” I offered. “I don’t mind.”
“It’s not a problem. I haven’t written my report, yet. I can’t say anything. They’ll get it.”
I tilted my head. “Are we talking about the same Nan?”
He opened the door and jogged around to let me out of my side of the truck. “Nothing to worry about.”
He led me inside. If Caleb thought he would be able to waltz in and out of Reel Time without anything to worry about. He was wrong.
Nan smiled at us from behind the counter. And Ethan walked up, pulling me into a hug.
