Page 4 of Easy Steal

The woman who had pissed Rome off was stalking towards us. She was incredibly tall and slender, with a sharp jawline and pretty green eyes that were shooting daggers at me. She attached herself to Samuel’s side.

“Larissa? What’s wrong?” Sammy asked, concern plain on his face.

“My brother is an ass,” she spat, curling her arm into his, “apparently I’m not even allowed to talk to Toni now that he’s married.”

I rolled my eyes.

“Problem?” Larissa narrowed her eyes at me.

“Nope,” I shot her a smile and shook my head.

“I’m sure that’s not what he meant, Riss,” Sammy smiled down at her, and everything clicked in my head instantly as I looked between the two of them.

“Whatever,” she spat, “ can you get me a drink, please?”

“Sure,” he smiled, patting her arm and tipping his head at me before he wandered to the bar. I stood in awkward silence with Larissa for a moment before my phone buzzed in my hands again. I looked down and read the text message, and spun around, looking towards the entrance.

“Fuck,” I said through gritted teeth as I noticed a blonde head of hair letting herself into the hall.

I stormed towards it, grabbed her by the arm and dragged her back out into the hallway.

“You’ve got some fucking nerve,” I spat.

“Well it’s nice to see you too,” Sierra crossed her arms.

“Why did you come here? You know that Rome has no interest in seeing you, especially on her fucking wedding day. Are you really that selfish, Sierra?”

“I just wanted to apologise,” she said, looking towards the ground.

I crossed my arms, “well today is not the day for that. Leave.”

She rolled her eyes and tried to step around me, but I blocked the door with my body.

“Leave!” I yelled, pushing her backwards.

“Do you really wanna do this, little Liv?” she laughed, looking down at me. She thought she could use her size to intimidate me, but I wasn’t scared of her.

“If I have to, I will.”

The door opened again, and somebody stepped out that made Sierra straighten.

“I think you’ve been asked to leave,” Sammy said, closing the door behind him.

Sierra’s eyes flickered from me to him, and she opened her mouth for only a moment before she decided it best not to argue. She spun on her heel and stormed back down the hallway, her heels clicking on the marble tile.

“Who’s that?” Samuel asked, gesturing with his chin towards Sierra.

I sighed, “long story. But Rome does not want her here.”

He nodded once, and led me back inside the hall.

“Drink?” he asked, and I nodded, following him to the bar.

He ordered three.

“You haven’t delivered Larissa her drink yet?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He laughed and shook his head.
