I smiled at her and my brand new baby girl. I was the luckiest man in the fucking world, and I couldn’t be happier.

The End

Epilogue

Lily

Threemonthslater,

I smiled up at the brick building in front of me as I hoisted my bag onto my shoulder. I was back in my office and couldn’t be happier. Don’t get me wrong, having my little leave was great and all, but I had missed getting dressed and seeing all my clients.

Things were booming, and I needed to be here in the office. I had hired a secretary that Astrid had suggested, and she was working out perfectly. Piper was one of Astrid’s old friends who was saving her money to open her own tattoo shop. She was adorable and everybody loved her when they came in.

With Piper’s help, I could even cater to some unique clients who were honestly the best around. She brought a whole new clientele to my doorstep, and I was so grateful. It brought me way more money to the point where Moose and I could put money into his security firm.

Hawk joined him and together they were installing top of the line home security all over the town. With all the money they were bringing in, Hawk surprised Sav with a beautiful house right next to ours. It was wonderful to have them literally next door to us.

Maddox and Nova were doing great, Avy was growing like a weed, and everything was perfect; except for one thing. I hadn’t seen the young girl from the possible cult in a few months. She had up and disappeared and I feared for the worse. But despite that, I was still looking for her.

I had done tons of interviews around town and found out that this religious cult kept to themselves. The Followers of the Nine Divines. They called themselves the children of the new lord who followed his nine divine gospels.

I was more determined than ever to save Parker from this group and destroy them. Nothing about them sounded okay, and it made me worried they were so close to us.

It made Moose worried as well, and even more worried that I was digging into them. He had installed so much more security on everything from the house to my office to my car. All the kids and I had multiple trackers on us just in case.

Standing, I stretched and made my way over to the coffee machine.

“Piper! You want a coffee?”

She shook her head and smiled. “I have my energy drink. Stop trying to force nasty bean water on me, lady.”

I laughed and reached into the mini fridge, taking out one of the cans for her. Walking over to her desk, I grabbed the empty one and threw it into the trash.

“Those are gonna kill you, girl.”

“I’m gonna kill you if you make me drink that nasty coffee shit. Jesus, boss lady.”

The bell above the door chimed and Moose came walking in, Avy all dressed in pink in his arms. Piper sighed and looked at me.

“He makes my ovaries explode. Sex on a friggin stick. You are one lucky lady.”

Moose laughed as he made his way over to us. “Plenty of available men for you, Pipes. Maybe let Thor take you on a date so he can stop talking about Daisy.”

Piper shook her head. “Nope. Daisy and him are meant for each other. Plus, she would kill me if I touched him. She may say no to him, but damn, has that woman marked him off limits.”

I nodded. “Yes, she has. I don’t understand why they just don’t date. I mean, yeah. She’s a police officer and all, but the Chief wouldn’t care. He actually really likes Daisy.”

Moose laughed and handed Avy to me, leaning down to kiss me.

“Who else can we hook my girl up with? Knuckles?”

I shook my head. “He’s obsessed with Olivia. Maybe Moonshine or Wildcat. They’re about your age. Cute too.”

Moose frowned. “You think they’re cute?”

I playfully bumped him with my hip. “Yes. Cute like a puppy. I’m all yours, don’t worry, big man.”

Pipe pretended to gag. “Please don’t fuck her in the office while I’m here. Just give me a couple bucks to go get food and you can have the place to yourself.”
