The warehouse comes into view, and we drive around to the back of it to hide our car. We all check our gear and then headinside, getting into position for them to arrive so we can finish this once and for all.
I can’t wait for Autumn to be happy finally and to know what life can be like, free from everything that ever caused her harm. Dominic made sure of that when she was taken, and now no one who ever dared lay a hand on her is alive to tell the tale.
The warehouse has crates lined up around the edges, and the windows barely let in any light because the containers are stacked so tall.
We all get into position, and I take up my spot behind a crate by the doorway so I can stop Charlie from making a run for it when he gets here.
Sure enough, twenty minutes later, Noah’s car drives in and stops inside, but he makes no move to leave his vehicle until Charlie arrives ten minutes later.
Charlie throws open his door, his eyes crazed, and storms over to Noah's car. “Where is she?” he demands.
“In the back. She’s out from what I gave her, so I covered her with the blanket to stop me from being stopped,” Noah lies, his voice calm as he stands in front of the backseat door.
We move silently towards them, careful not to alert Charlie to our presence.
Noah catches my eye, nodding ever so slightly and touching his middle finger and thumb together twice, which is our signal to pounce.
Atlas dashes for the warehouse doors, slamming them closed with my help, and Dominic and Zander pounce on Charlie, who never saw us coming.
His obsession for Autumn blinding him to the threat that was waiting for him.
Zander has him pinned to the floor, a black eye and a swollen jaw already appearing on his face, “You’re going to regret ever hurting her,” he hisses into his ear.
“She’s fucking mine!” Charlie screams, his cheek pressed against the concrete floor, “You told me you had her! Where is she?”
Sebastian jumps out the back of Noah’s car, a sinister smile on his face, “The next time you see her will be the day you die, Charlie, but until then, these faces are going to be the only ones you see while we make sure you regret ever laying a finger on her.”
“She wouldn’t let you do that to me. She loves me!” he shouts, struggling in Zander's hold.
“She’s never loved you. She looked at you like a child looks at a father, something Jane ripped from her,” I sneer, stepping closer and pushing my boot down onto his face, “You will be begging for death by the time we’re done with you.”
Zander tightens duct tape around Charlie's wrists, ‘accidentally’ breaking two of his fingers in the process. His screams echo around us, but there’s no one here to save him.
Dominic gleefully skips forward, the replacement knife in his hand, and slides it down Charlie’s face in a smooth line that curves down his throat and along his neck. Not enough to cause real damage, but blood oozes from the wounds; Charlie’s muffled shouts from the duct tape placed over his mouth are like music to my ears.
I want him to suffer for everything he’s done to her, and I can’t wait for him to see what happens to someone who hurts my girl.
Brenn steps forward and takes him from Zander before he can do more damage to him, shoving him towards our car. He slams the butt of his gun into the side of his head, rendering him unconscious, before throwing him into the back, “Do you haveit?” he asks Noah, who nods his head, getting the sedative from the bag in his car and injects it into Charlie’s neck.
We wanted him to have no chance of waking up and to experience what Autumn had when she woke up trapped with no way out.
A feeling Charlie is going to become very accustomed to.
I’m just glad that this went smoothly and that we can help Autumn realize she’s finally free.

“Put him there,” Dominic nods to the metal chair in the middle of the stark white tiled room, chains attached to the floor.
Me and Zander carry Charlie’s unconscious body to the chair, and Dominic gleefully chains him up. The metal shackles are so similar to the ones that Charlie used on me and Autumn to keep us trapped. I’m glad that he’s going to get what he deserves after everything he did to Autumn; he deserves this and so much more.
Dominic flits around the room, grabbing multiple different instruments that I’m so used to seeing in the surgical suite.
