“It doesn’t shock me. Your saliva glands are just as excited as the rest of you is to be eating. After all, you’ve been without food for almost five days now.”
Five days?
It seemed so much longer than that.
“May I have some more? Maybe a larger piece?” I asked.
His eyes met mine. “We go slowly. This plate is ours to share.”
I shook my head. “I’m going to need more than that. Like you said, I haven’t eaten in—”
His stare grew hardened. “We split it or you don’t eat.”
I nodded quickly. “Okay. Okay. We’ll split it.”
“Good girl.”
I watched him curiously as he fed me a small piece of broccoli. Then, finally, I watched him feed himself for a while. I would’ve fought him over that food, had he released me. I could have taken my nails to his dick if it meant that entire plate of food. My stomach wanted more. My mouth needed more. My muscles were aching for more nutrients, and it was killing me to watch him eat.
“Okay, okay. You’ve had enough. My turn again,” I said.
He grinned. “If only you were so eager in other aspects of your needs.”
Back and forth the meal went, with him feeding me a bite before taking one himself. I felt myself growing stronger. I felt the haze of hunger lift from my mind. And when he placed the fork in front of my lips, his eyes locking with mine, it finally hit me.
“Teo,” I whispered.
He set the plate off to the side. “So, a little bit of food and it all comes rushing back.”
I scooted away from him. “It’s you.”
He nodded. “It is me.”
I pointed at him, my hand trembling. “You’re—you’re the guy from—from the party.”
He didn’t confirm or deny anything. He just sat there, staring at me. Watching me, like a damn hawk.
My lower lip quivered. “You’re stalking me, aren’t you?”
Teo shook his head. “I can assure you that’s not the case.”
“So, you saw me at a party and decided you just had to have me? Was that auction yours!?”
He drew in a sharp breath. “Let’s get one thing straight: I don’t ever delve into the disgusting practices the Lucchese Family has their hands in. I had nothing to do with that auction, and I won’t have you thinking as such.”
I scoffed. “And I’m supposed to believe you.”
“Yes. Because it’s the truth.”
My eyes studied his face. “Prove it.”
“Can’t do that.”
“Then, in a court of law? You’d be sunk.”
“We’re not in one of those, though. We’re in my basement.”
He’s going to ransom you off. He saw an opportunity and took it.
