Page 35 of The Love of Priest

Britain felt played, so she was going to show out. Priest didn't expect her to go so hard. She had her ass shaking so alluringly to the beat of the song. Priest matched her movements every way he could, but eventually, he lost himself once he felt his jeans tighten. Britain felt accomplished at the feeling of Priest’s stiff third leg brushing against her rear. She felt Priest tap her waist, which acted as a nonverbal signal to adjust her posture so she was no longer bent over.

Britain turned on her heels to face him with an overly amused smirk. "You fucked up. You know that, right?" Priest leaned down and spoke near her ear, causing a shiver to tremble down her spine.

Britain, who had no idea how to play with fire, gulped nervously as she made eye contact with him. The eye he was giving her was a warning, as if he were telling her to proceed with caution. Britain fell right into his arms, wrapping her arms around his torso. She could feel her heart rate accelerate at the stiff feeling of Priest's dick now brushing against her front side. She tried not to think about it much since her curiosity often got the best of her, and she knew she would find herself in something she was sure she wouldn't be able to handle.

Priest’s hands conformed to Britain's flawless body as he caressed her plump bottom before grabbing a handful of it. A light laugh escaped him. "You just started one hell of a game," he warned her.

Britain, who was a known shit talker, carelessly rolled her eyes before waving him off. "I'll beat you at your own game," she scoffed.

Priest found her little facade to be more than amusing. "Bet," he concluded with a nod of his head.

She decided she was done dancing since she knew what she was capable of when it came to arousing him. Instead, she remained in front of him, rear to front, as he loosely wrapped his built arm around her neck. Priest indulged in a few blunts he rolled, unaware that it was one of the sexiest sights Britain had ever witnessed. For a second, she almost fantasized that she was one of the Woods he was rolling and licking so delicately. Priest found Britain's mindless staring funny. She was always doing the oddest things subconsciously.

Many people came up to Priest and chatted for a bit. A light mean mug etched Britain's face when the fourth person approached him and started conversation without acknowledging her. Britain concluded that she just had to be invisible. She was positive that everyone Priest surrounded himself with possessed just as many manners as he did, so they knew it was respectful to greet others, but they still didn’t say two words to her. For the life of her, she didn't understand why no one shot her a simple hello before conversing with Priest.

"Do they not see me? I know I'm quiet, but damn," Britain stressed with her face twisted up in an unpleasant manner since she thought it was extremely rude and distasteful not to greet someone.

Priest chuckled at the fact that she was really worked up by such a small thing that he had the power to fix in seconds. "Chill out," he instructed her, peppering her jawline with two kisses. "They won't address you until I advise them to. Out of respect."

Britain peered up at him, rolling her eyes at how egocentric he sounded. She folded her arms across her chest, her face contorting into a light scowl. "Out of respect, introduce me," she countered.

Taken aback by her request, Priest grew alarmed. "Yo, I don't need everybody knowing what your name is," he stated with a simple shrug, indicating that he no longer wanted to discuss the matter.

Britain smacked her lips. "Got it, Priest." She nodded her head.

"You gotta understand, I'm not just a regular. I move differently. I understand that in the past you felt like you got a level of significance when everyone knew who you were, but things operate differently with me," Priest explained. "Trust me, you're way more important when people don't have an idea who you are." Britain's scowl immediately softened. Priest noticed the change, which caused him to grab her chin gently.

"I just put you on game. Don't forget that."

Britain cut her eyes at him playfully, causing him to laugh a bit. "Your friends, J'Ru and Kaymen, know who I am," she reminded him almost in hopes of successfully contradicting his statement.

"They're my brothers. They have that privilege," Priest shrugged.

A grin spread across Britain's face before she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Awe, you like me," she teased him with an infantile voice.

Priest smacked his lips. "C'mon, man. Stop playing." He shook his head with a little laugh.

"I love your smile," Britain complimented him, cupping the sides of his face like she always did, immediately causing Priest to retire his wide smile and offer a much lighter one.

"I would say I love yours too, but I know how you get when I draw unwanted attention to it," Priest mocked her.

"Stop," Britain whined.

"I ain't do nothing." Priest shrugged. "I just feel like you let your insecurities dictate too much in your life. You don't even smile in pictures," he pointed out.

Britain shrugged. Priest always liked going deep on her. Sometimes, Britain just wanted to enjoy light conversation, but Priest managed to delve into the deepest parts of her soul and mind so damn effortlessly.

"Okay, Mr. Colgate Smile." She threw up a sarcastic set of jazz hands. "Just because you flash a smile in every picture in the newspaper doesn't mean I can. My smile isn't all perfect like yours."

Priest smacked his lips, shaking his head at her. "The fact that it's not perfect is what makes it perfect. Clearly this ain't a conversation you're willing to have, especially not here," he concluded before sitting the rolled Wood between his lips and lighting it.

For the rest of the night, Priest and Britain enjoyed the vibes the party offered. Britain had gotten accustomed to not being addressed by anyone. She was with Priest, and that was enough information for them.

J'Ru and Kaymen both noticed Priest's close interactions with Britain. J'Ru, who only knew her because she was Remy's daughter, greeted her with respect since she was fathered by a man he respected highly and was being courted by his brother. Things between Britain and Kaymen were a lot more laid back and chill since they both mutually cared so much for Jadey.

J'Ru looked as though he wanted to ask questions, and Priest knew it was only because he wanted to be prepared if Priest and Britain got serious. Kaymen on the other hand, couldn’t have cared less. He was the more laid-back type who didn't give a damn about much of anything unless it put him in a sticky situation. Priest's and Britain's situation was an odd one since the two of them were the last people he would have thought would hit it off, but he also knew opposites truly attract.

"Coming back to my place?" Britain asked as he cornered her against her car, peering down at her.
