“Thanks Rhy. I will be there in a minute,” he tells her in his muffled voice. She laughs some more then leaves the room.

“Oh my God.” I smack my forehead and drop back down into the mattress.

“Like she didn’t know we spent the night together. Where do you think I’ve been sleeping these last few days? Sure as fuck wasn’t on the floor,” he tells me, tossing the pillow aside when he stands up.

“Ok but… She…”

“She what? Her parents are fucking.” Roman shrugs as if it’s no big deal.

“Fucking? Really?” I get to my knees on the bed ready to get off when Roman comes at me, taking me around the waist and putting me down flat on the mattress. “What are you doing.”

“Makingloveto you Pria,” he tells me with a sly smile as his body settles over the top of mine.

Her taste still lingers on my tongue as I step into chapel to find my Cental brothers gathered around the table. “How’s the reunion?” Gin asks from his seat at the table. We have all aged quite a bit over the years, but Gin may have taken the worst of it. He had a mild stroke a couple of years back and went through a rough road of recovery. The left side of his face still droops slightly from it. I suppose all of us are closer to death than we would like to admit. Of all the guns pointed in our faces and bullets that missed, age is the one thing none of us will escape.

“They are coming back to Rhino with me for good,” I say catching a smile grow on my face with the words. I let it sink in as my brothers offer congratulations from around the table. Pria is coming home with me. Where I shouldn’t have let her leave in the first place, and we have a daughter.A daughter. I will spend whatever years I have left getting to know her and attempt to make up for all them years we lost because I couldn’t figure out how to be a better man. Not that I know how to now, but I’m damn sure going to try. First, I need to make sure my family is safe. “What do we know?” Reek pulls out a seat next to his at the table and offers me a look on his laptop.

“I have eyes on Mansfield. The guy hasn’t made much noise in the past few days. My guess is he will lay low and keep as far away from this as he can with the upcoming election.” Reek shrugs. “Doesn’t mean the guy wont accidently trip and fall, maybe break his neck or something.”

The guys all chuckle while Rock crosses his arms and leans back in his chair. “I know a guy who would most likely be willing to take out this particular type of trash. You met him not too long ago.”Steven. “Already supplied him with the info. Mansfield should be out of the picture in the next 24.”

“So then what about Mike?” My hands clench into fists on their own, wanting to strangle the life out of the piece of shit.

“There’s no confirmation if he is alive or dead. If he’s alive he is a pro at hiding. I have tapped into every camera I can out in that area and haven’t found any trace of him. Not even in the time frame he would have left the apartment after being stabbed,” Reek explains.

“What if he didn’t leave it?” I wonder aloud. “What if the fucker is still there hiding? I mean why would anyone go back? He could be hold up there waiting to recover.”

“It’s a possibility. We could have someone check it out. There are a few nomads in the area I think.” Reek gets to typing on his computer while Wiz produces a phone from the pocket of his cut.

“Yeah, I got a favor to ask of ya,” Wiz says into the phone. “What’s that address?” he gets down to look on Reek’s computer screen and reads off the address. “Got that? Check it out. We have a hunch someone is held up inside. Wounded, and extremely hostile. Yeah, take him alive if you can. Thanks brother.” Wiz pockets the phone again. “Joe is going to check it out. He isn’t too far from that area, maybe an hour or so.”

“Good. Then we wait. I will go check the status on our soon to be dead politician.” Rock stands from the table and walks out of the room.

“He has warmed up to the fact he and Steven are related. Took some time. I’m sure Buggs had a lot to do with that,” Gin says. “And maybe the fact he has helped us out a time or two, no questions asked.”

“I suppose it’s always good to know a hitman,” I shrug. “I thought Rhino got into some shit, you guys down here sure know how to step in it sometimes.” There have been several instances our clubs have needed the backup of each other, along with the help of the Siberians, our allies in Idaho.

“What can I say? We are shit at making new friends.” Gin waves his hands out to the sides then pushes away from his spot at the table. “Now if you don’t mind gents, I’m going to go on home with the Miss’s.” He walks with the slightest of a limp as he leaves the room.

“Old bastard. I think he will outlive us all. Fucker has lived through being burnt, shot, and a damn stroke,” Reek says.

Wiz pats Reek’s back. “All of you old bastards will outlive us all.” Reek turns and flips Wiz off. With a chuckle, Wiz walks out of the room.

“Arrogant prick. He ain’t that much younger than all of us.” Reek stands from the table now. “Care for a smoke while we wait?”

“Who the fuck would say no to that?” I follow Reek out of the room and down the hall to what I’m guessing is the surveillance room. There are monitors set up along the walls, each one has a live feed of somewhere outside the clubhouse. There is even a screen that shows four different angles of the store Kimi, the VP’s old lady runs. “Where is Jake? I haven’t seen him yet.” Nor have I seen Kimi with the women.

“Home.” Is all Reek says before he reaches into a drawer and produces a small pipe.

“Home? I have been here for days and haven’t seen him once. What’s going on?” Reek takes a long pull from the pipe then hands it over to me.

“He quit,” he says before blowing out the smoke.

“Quit? What do you mean quit?” I put the pipe to my mouth and flick on the lighter, sucking in deep. It’s been a long time since I smoked so it scorches my throat and I end up coughing like a bitch. “Fuck.” Coughing a few more times I hand the pipe back to Reek who takes another hit like it’s nothing.
