“In more ways than one,” I said.

He grinned and shed the rest of his clothes, standing before me gloriously nude with all the soft curves and ripples of his muscles on display. His erection jutted out from between his thighs like the needle of a compass, sure to guide me right where I belonged.

I pulled my dress up and over my head, revealing a surprise: no panties. Even before the phone call with Duke Champion got me all worked up, I’d wanted to have sex with Carter when he got home.

Carter pulled in a deep breath when he saw his surprise, my wetness bared for him. “Damn, I should start coming home for lunch more often.”

I giggled and lowered down to the rug, spreading my knees to keep his prize in view. “Come get me.”

“Oh, I’ll come alright,” he growled. He dropped onto his hands and knees and came for me, growling like a tiger. I shrieked with laughter as he crawled over me, rubbing his rough beard over my body. His lips found mine and we kissed, our mouths melding. His tongue flickered into my mouth. I met his with mine and we played together between us, our tongues sliding over each other.

I skimmed my nails down Carter’s back to his waist and dug them in, holding on tight. My body begged for his. I raised my butt up off the mattress, searching for him.

Carter kissed me harder, nudging his hips forward to brush my ready slit with his manhood. I gasped at how good it felt, his rigidness gliding through my lips, spreading me. I moaned his name and pulled harder at him.

Carter settled his body down on mine, letting me feel his weight. I relaxed underneath him, enjoying his heaviness, the feeling of being owned by him. “I love you,” I breathed.

“I love you, Megyn,” he said. He moved against me, the tip of his organ sliding in and out of me, a tease. I pressed for more, but he held back, smiling down at me. His bright green eyes were hooded, hazy with lust for me, lust I had inspired in him that no one else could. “Are you ready?”

“I’ve always been ready.”

Carter chuckled and moved against me again, his shaft sliding deeper into me, spreading me, filling me. I wriggled and sank deeper onto him, smiling at how good it was to have my depths stretched by him. I could feel every inch of him so acutely, so intimately.

Our bodies met, fully entwined.

“I love you,” Carter said again, and then he took me, thrusting slowly in and out.

I met his pace, thrusting to meet him. We found our rhythm and chased orgasm together, steadily, never rushing, simply enjoying the ecstasy that we built. Time blurred, went indistinct. Heat flowed through my body, overtaking me. I arched my back and cried out for him, holding his body tight to mine.

“Carter! Carter! I’m coming!”

“Megyn,” he growled, and buried his face in my neck while his body shook over mine.

And for a short, blindingly euphoric time, we were one.

CHAPTER39

CARTER

Ihad it all planned out and, unlike many of my other plans, I allowed no room for error. This was going to go exactly how I wanted it to and it would be perfect.

“Come with me,” I told Megyn. “I have something I want to show you.”

Megyn looked up from her desk, pausing in the middle of sliding a piece of folded fabric along the needle of her sewing machine. She continued moving the fabric along after a moment. I admired her dexterity, the smoothness of her movements. “Okay. Where are we going?”

I bit my tongue, trying to keep my excitement at bay. If I gave this away and ruined the plan, I’d never forgive myself. “You remember the building by the beach where I had the Halloween party?”

Megyn finished with her machine and turned it off. “Of course, I do. I’ll never forget.”

“I need your opinion on something over there.”

“Okay,” she agreed. I could tell she had no idea what this was about and it was all I could do to hold back my laughter of delight. “Do I need to get my coat? It’s pretty late and the temperature is supposed to drop way below freezing. Snow’s in the forecast.”

“All you need is yourself,” I joked.

Megyn gave me a bit of an odd look. I plastered a smile on my face, my heart thundering, hoping I hadn’t sounded so weird as to make her suspicious. She smiled back and got up from her chair. “I’ll meet you by the door.”

“Okay,” I agreed.
