“You didn’t fuck anything up,” Ezra and I said at the same time.

“I get wanting to give him everything after everything he’s been through,” Ezra continued when I remained silent. “But Logan is an adult, and he’ll speak up if he needs something from one of us. It’s easy to make assumptions, to think that all this money, our big home, and our nice vehicles are things he wants.”

“We could lose all of that today, and I’d still only want the two of you,” I confessed. I slid my fingers into Spencer’s hair, scraping my blunt nails along his scalp. “Okay?”

He nodded. “Okay.” Blowing out a harsh breath, he wiped his palms on his swim shorts. “I need to go find Dad and ask to borrow his laptop.”

I nodded and pressed a soft kiss that lingered to his sweet lips. “Come on. We’ll go find him together, and then, we’ll all go get some food. Sound good?”

Spencer smiled and nodded. “Sounds great.”

Ezra pressed a kiss to Spencer’s shoulder before standing and stretching, all those muscles flexing as he did so. When he caught Spencer and I staring, he winked at us. “Later,” he promised. Holding out his hand, he wiggled his fingers at Spencer. “Come on, baby. You’ve got a job to quit.”

Alight knock sounded on our hotel room door. Grunting, I lifted my head from my pillow, squinting to see who was bothering us in the middle of the day. Eros opened the door, and he smiled, stepping aside to reveal the boys. Groaning, I sat up and shoved my hair back off my face, then rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

“Hey,” I greeted, yawning and stretching. My back and shoulder popped, and I rolled my neck around. “What’s up?”

“Is Dad around?” Spencer asked, sliding his hands into the pockets of his white lounge pants. They’d obviously gone to shower and change after the heart-to-heart we’d all had on the beach. Logan had donned a sleeveless top with ripped sides, revealing all the ink on his torso, and a pair of black cargo shorts. Ezra was wearing a pair of gym shorts and a long sleeve white shirt. The three of them were dressed so at odds with each other, but it worked—weirdly.

“Here,” Jaxon said, coming in from the balcony holding a crime novel in his hand. He tossed the book onto the nightstand before taking a seat on the bed. “What’s up, kid?”

“I need to borrow your laptop,” Spencer said, shifting uncomfortably on his feet. “I need to type up a letter of resignation and send it to human resources.”

The room was quiet for a long moment while we all let that bomb dissolve in our brains, and then, Jaxon nodded. “Sure.” He moved to get up, but Eros was already digging Jaxon’s laptop out of his bag and handing it to Spencer. “We didn’t mean to pressure you—” Jaxon started.

Spencer shook his head, taking the seat Logan pulled out for him at the desk in the corner of the room. “You didn’t. None of you did. Ezra and Logan just opened my eyes to something, and now that I’m… aware, I guess you could say, I want to go ahead and send in my resignation.”

Logan dropped onto the end of the bed and fell back with a loud groan. Ezra stayed beside Spencer, his hand resting on his shoulder. I nudged Logan with my foot, shooting him a disgruntled look. “This isn’t your bed, fucker.”

“There’s no other seating, asshole,” Logan retorted.

I rolled my eyes. “You know we fuck on this bed?”

Logan shrugged. “So did lots of people before you. Also, if you’d fucked on it today, the room would still smell like sex. And it doesn’t, so the sheets have been changed.” He shot me a finger gun without opening his eyes. “Got you.” Lowering his arm, he rested it behind his head, getting comfortable.

The little shit.

“Sex doesn’t always involve shoving my dick inside your father-in-law.”

Logan shrugged. “Jaxon’s cum stains don’t bother me, Zep.”

I huffed a laugh. “You’re a pain in the ass.”

Logan cackled. “You don’t take anything up the ass, Zep, so…”

I’d never made it some kind of secret that I didn’t bottom. Ever. And I didn’t think I ever would, honestly. But as long as Eros and Jaxon were okay with that, which they were, that was all I cared about. So, Logan could send those kinds of shots all day long. They didn’t bother me.

“Yeah, but you’re a whore for it.”

“You two wear on my nerves,” Jaxon sighed before Logan could open his mouth. Jaxon cut me a sharp look—thatDadlook. The one that always got me fucking hot and bothered and ready to bend him over the nearest surface. “Did I marry an adult or a child?”

I grinned at him. “I mean, when you give me that Dad look…”

Eros laughed and settled behind Jaxon on the bed, pulling our man into his arms so Jaxon rested against his chest. “Don’t get huffy, baby,” Eros said, pressing a kiss to the top of Jaxon’s head. “He’s not wrong. That Dad look is totally hot.”
