“More than ready.” She says the last part ending on a moan as I slide into her, stretching her the way she needs to be stretched. I wait for her to adjust to my size before I begin to thrust in and out of her in a steady rhythm.” Yes, Jax!” she claws at my back with so much force I’m sure she’ll leave marks, which brings out my primal side, knowing that my woman has marked her man.
“That’s it, take my dick like the good girl I know you are.” I pump faster as her moans of pleasure fill the air.
Thrust after thrust she cries out louder and louder until I feel her pussy tighten around my cock and squeeze it tight. “Fuck!” I shout as I empty my balls deep inside of her, secretly hoping I get her pregnant again. But unlike last time, this time I’ll be with her every step of the way.

“Hello, is anyone home?”Cautiously, I open Creed and McKenna’s front door. It’s unusual for them not to answer when I knock, especially since they’re watching Cash for me.
“Are you sure they're home? Maybe they took Cash for ice cream or something.” I appreciate Jax trying to make me feel better, but something is off. I can feel it in my bones. Call it mother’s intuition, but something is definitely wrong.
“Something is off. One of them would have sent me a text if they were going to take Cash anywhere.” I walk through thefront door, not sure what I’ll find, when I spot a pale-looking McKenna sitting on the couch holding a sleeping Cash. “Thank God, you’re okay.” I rush to McKenna’s side, watching as more color drains from her face.
“Um, Serena, I think I know what was giving you that bad feeling.” Hearing the tension in Jax’s voice, I turn to him only to find Amber holding him at gunpoint, the barrel jammed into the side of his ribs.
“There’s the little slut. Coming to save her bastard baby.” The evil look on Amber’s face can only be described as terrifying, with a lot of craziness mixed in.
I ease my way in front of McKenna, positioning my body to shield her and my baby. During my time in foster care, I was exposed to a lot of people with mental health issues. So much so that I considered going into the mental health field at one time, that’s why I took a couple of anatomy and biology classes in college.
“I’m sure we can talk this out like rational people.” I hold my hands out so she can see I’m not a threat to her.
“It’s too late for that, whore. This could have been avoided if you hadn’t spread your legs the first night you met Jax. I thought I had gotten rid of you with that NDA bullshit and that note. But you must be one hell of a lay for Jax to come sniffing around you again after all this time.”
“Shut your fucking mouth, Amber.” Jax growls, making Amber press her gun tighter against his side.
“You want me to shut up? I don’t think so. Do you know how many clients I lost because of the two of you? First McKenna and that sideshow tattooed freak of a guy, and now you with your equally tattooed sideshow freak?”
I give Jax a pleading look, hoping he won't upset Amber again. “There has to be something we can do to make it up to you,” I suggest, knowing there is no way in hell she’s going to get away with threatening my family. “I know. What if you resign Jax and McKenna, and they go on tour together?”
“Are you really that stupid? I’m done—ruined. All because of this fucking little town and the freaks that live in it.”
That’s it. I’m done listening to her talk badly about my town and the people I love, but before I can say anything, a crash from the kitchen has us all turning toward the sound. Even Amber takes the gun off of Jax and points it toward the noise, giving him the opportunity he needs to finish this.
With lightning speed, Jax brings his arm down hard across Amber’s, knocking the gun from her hand and sending it sliding across the floor to a waiting Creed as he steps out of the kitchen.
Creed bends down to pick up the gun as Jax tackles a screaming, kicking Amber to the floor. “Get off me!” Amber screeches. “I’ll make you pay for this!”
“Not from behind bars you won’t.” Creed points the gun at Amber as Jax ties her to a chair with an extension cord. “The cops will be here any minute.”
“You!” Amber shouts, “You were supposed to be out getting your pregnant wife some ice cream.”
McKenna places her hand on her still-flat stomach as I scoop Cash out of her arms. “You’re pregnant?” I glance at her hand that's gently caressing her belly.
“Yes. We were planning to tell you guys tonight when you picked up Cash, but that old cow had to ruin everything.”
“I forgot my wallet. I saw something strange through the window, so I decided to enter through the back door and investigate.” Creed opens the chamber of the gun and removes all the bullets before closing it and placing it on the table. “I’m glad I listened to my gut; there’s no telling what she would have done.” In three strides, he's next to his wife, taking her into his arms just as the police rush through the front door.
The police take Amber into custody. “We will need a statement from all of you.” One of the officers says.
“In a minute.” Jax rushes to my side now that Amber has been escorted out of the house. “Are you okay? Is our baby okay?” He glances from me to a sound asleep Cash in my arms and back at me again.
“Surprisingly, your son can sleep through anything.”
“I’m so glad you’re both okay. I don’t know what I would do if I lost either of you.” Jax wraps his arms around both of us, our baby cradled between us.
I look into the eyes of the man I love and tell him exactly how I feel, “I love you, Jax.”
