Glancing past us, I cocked my brows at Theo. “What about you, T? Would you consider this a date?”

“I sure as hell would,” he replied with a grin.

“Good. I’m glad we’re on the same page.”

“While I hate to be the party pooper, this is still our first date, and I very clearly said I wouldn't be sleeping with the two of you on the first date.”

“Come on, Viv. Live a little,” I urged.

“Once again, I see what you’re doing,” she replied.

“Vivian’s right, Gray. We need another date.”

I stared past Vivian at Theo. “Seriously, T?”

With a nod, he replied, “But I think we can all agree that the next date should include sex.”

“Sounds good to me.”

Vivian glanced between the two of us before nodding. “It works for me as well.”

“How about tomorrow night?” I suggested.

She laughed. “You’re not wasting any time, are you?”

I grinned. “Just say the words and I will take you right now in this booth.”

Vivian’s eyes widened. “H-Here? In front of everyone?”

Dropping my hand on her thigh, I replied, “I wouldn’t have to claim you with my cock. My fingers could do the taking.”

Vivian’s shocked gaze dropped down to her thigh. Just when I thought she might be game for a little third-base action, she removed my hand. “Not until our date and certainly not in front of people.”

“Maybe we can work you up to a little exhibitionism,” Theo suggested.

After swallowing hard, Vivian replied, “I seriously doubt that.”

But I could see something flickering in her eyes. A curiosity that said otherwise. And man, was it sexy.

“So tomorrow night?” I repeated.

“Okay then. Tomorrow night.” Tilting her head at me, Vivian asked, “Where do you plan on taking me?”

“To multiple orgasm town,” I replied.

Theo groaned. “Seriously, Gray.”

With a laugh, Vivian replied, “I look forward to it.”

And so did I.

CHAPTER SEVEN: VIVIAN

The day of my date with my handsome hockey duo dawned sunny, yet incredibly cold. I’d bundled myself up before heading into an early shift at the library. I’d switched with another librarian so I could have my usual working evening shift off. Of course, I’d also promised to work her day shift tomorrow for her to swap with me.

To say I spent the hours in anxious restlessness was an understatement. Trying to keep my hands busy, I ended up reshelving all the books. I couldn’t bring myself to sit down. My focus was so bad that when students asked me questions, I had to ask them to repeat themselves. I even goofed up the Dewey Decimal numbers they needed.

I was a wreck.
