This Rockwood Valley magic is strong.

Nash’s brother, Maverick, was pulling him into a hug, smiling from ear to ear.

“I told you, brother. You just had to be patient, and now look, two omegas and a baby on the way.”

Nash shook his head, but his smile never faltered. “They were all worth the wait.”

Devon brushed eyeshadow over my eyes while he sang softly to the playlist he had queued up. We hadn’t gotten dressed yet, but we were both going through our skincare and makeup routine.

For Devon, he just did a tinted moisturizer and a setting powder to even out his skin tone.

Nash wouldn’t tell us much about our date, only to dress up.

Those were magic words for my mate. Devon dragged me to three different stores before we found a matching outfit. His was a patterned tux that was black with a textured, damask pattern over it, and the undershirt was a deep plum that was gorgeous.

My dress was the same shade of purple, a soft lace covering the neckline and arms.

Since I wasn’t a fan of heels, he found a pair of flats. They were both comfortable and a perfect pairing to my outfit.

He even begged me to let him do my hair and makeup. If it made him happy, I wasn’t going to deny him anything.

When Devon smiled, he lit up the room, and it warmed me from the inside out. I was quickly becoming addicted to it, and now I understood why alphas craved spoiling their omegas, because I wanted to do the same thing for Devon.

“Where do you think he’s taking us?” he asked as he put the brush down and carefully wiped off the remnants from my cheeks.

I kept my eyes closed while he brushed the rest of my makeup on, finally ending with mascara and a tinted lip gloss.

“I’m not sure, but I’m excited,” I admitted. “We get to dress up. I feel like I haven’t been able to do that in a long time.”

“Well, you look ravishing, my darling,” he said, helping me up and turning me toward the mirror.

My eyes widened as I took myself in. He hadn’t gone all out or crazy, it was just the perfect amount. A subtle smoky eye, contouring that accentuated my features, my eyes bright and shining against the dark eyeshadow. The tint on my lips was just enough to draw attention.

I loved it.

My hair usually wouldn’t hold a curl, but somehow he’d done witchcraft with that curling iron and whatever sprays he used because right now, there were soft curls draped around my shoulders.

“Let’s get you in the dress,” he said, pulling it from the hook and helping me into it. Eventually, he turned me around, zipped it up, and then laid my hair meticulously around my shoulders so everything was perfect.

Devon stepped away to put on his suit. My eyes tracked over every inch of him that he exposed. He was too busy to notice, but I took in everything from the perfect rounding of his ass, to the slight tone of his muscles, the small dusting of hair, and the softness that he had. My omega was gorgeous.

By the time he had his suit on and turned back around for me to see, I was practically drooling.

This man looked absolutely divine.

The tailored suit was cut perfectly, accentuating the softness of his omega side while still keeping his masculine build.

He was taller than me, and when he tucked me into his side in the mirror, I couldn’t help but think that we looked perfect together. He was just tall enough that his arm draped easily over me, and now, with us matching and all dressed up, I needed to commit this moment to memory forever.

“Ready to make them eat their hearts out?” I said, grinning at him in the mirror.

“Oh, hell yeah,” he said, taking my hand and leading me down the stairs.

“Everybody better get their cute asses in the kitchen and appreciate their omegas!” he called out.

Braxton was the first to appear, stuttering over his words before finally settling on, “You guys look incredible.”
