“Don’t worry about it. Go take a shower. We will strip the sheets off the bed, and Petra will wash them.”
With a nod, I walk my naked ass into the bathroom. I love this shower so much—it sprays from every angle.
Even though I really want to, I don’t take long; instead, I wash quickly and get out. Wrapping a fluffy towel around my body, I walk back into our room, jumping slightly at the sight of Case laying on the unmade bed, smirking at me.
“Please let me tell Boston. He will tell Chester, and we can finally see the beast explode. He has been way too calm lately. It’s weird.”
I shake my head at him. “We are not purposely pissing Chester off. He is working on his temper for the sake of the babies. He doesn’t want them to see him like that. Plus, I figured I could tempt him with sex, and it would all work itself out.”
I remove the towel and drop it to the floor. Case’s eyes roam over my body, the lust in them making me feel sexy.
“Damn, scratch that. Let’s not tell anyone yet. When do the babies nap again?”
I laugh as he hands me my underwear. “All in good time. I have my check-up tomorrow, and I can get on birth control.”
Case pouts, throwing a dress my way. These maternity dresses have been amazing. Oversized shirts expose way too much skin when I pull them up to feed. With Linus in the house, I figure I should cover up a bit; I don’t want to make him uncomfortable or set the guys off.
Once I’m dressed, Case follows me to the nursery. I open the door, and the babies are not there. They must have taken them downstairs. Walking past the second bathroom, I hear someone singing. pushing the door open, and not one, but two of my guys are in the bath together. Chester and Creed look over at me. Each of them is holding a baby.
“What are you doing?” I ask them, and they both smile.
“Grace told us to bathe them. You have brunch with your friends today, so...” Creed answers, motioning to the scene before me.
“And why are you both in with them? They have baby baths in the nursery.”
“Because they are slippery when they are wet, and we needed to shower. It kills two birds with one stone.” Chester beams, holding Zhavia under her tiny arms and letting her float in front of him, while Creed does the same with Zadom.
I step into the bathroom and watch, a giggle slipping past my lips. Case leaves us to it and goes downstairs.
“Chester, Creed, where did you go?” Linus sing-songs from somewhere in the hallway.
“You two chickens are hiding from him, aren’t you?” I say, throwing my hands on my hips.
“Jolie... oh, hello boys,” Linus says, walking into the bathroom. Chester’s jaw goes hard, and I snicker. Linus leans in close to me. “Did you take a photo of that? You lucky bitch.”
Creed clears his throat at the same time a growl builds in Chester’s throat.
“Oh right, privacy. The door was open, and maybe you might want to think about getting ugly soon. All these tattoos and muscled bodies give a man blue balls.”
I slap Linus on the arm, and he tells me he will go get the babies’ outfits ready for the day. I swear I haven’t seen them wear the same clothes twice.
“Remind me why we hired him,” Chester grumbles as he stands. I grab a small towel as he steps onto the mat and then take Zhavia from him as bubbles slide down his body.
“What is that?” I ask as my eyes go wide. Chester thrusts his hips, and his new bling looks good. I shake off the lust as he wraps a towel around his waist, then gets the little blue towel and helps Creed with Zadom.
I have zero chill watching Creed stand. “Tenshi, you need to stop looking at me like that. I’m two seconds away from bending you over the vanity and fucking your pussy raw.”
“No time boys, I have a date with my friends.”
Chester hands me Zadom, and I take both babies into the nursery. Linus has their cute little onesies laid out, and he races over and takes Zadom from me. We dry, powder, and dress the babies before heading downstairs.
“Good morning,” Brennan says, standing near the coffee machine, dressed in his work suit.
Petra comes in beside me and smuggles Zhavia out of my arms.
“Brennan, I thought you were going into work this morning?” I quirk an eyebrow at him as I wonder if I’ve just had a mum-brain moment.
“I am, but I held my first meeting from here. We have updates on some of the construction, and Chester and Marlow’s aunt has agreed to meet with us later in the week.”
