He kissed her forehead, his eyes a little droopy. “Mmm?”

“I gotta tell you something.” He quirked a brow. “I’m seeing Cain behind your back.”

She grinned at him, and the way he smiled softly back at her, I was pretty sure he was a goner. His heart was hers now. He met my eyes over her shoulder. “Ah, Dippy? Pretty sure I’m seeing Cain behind your back. Pretty sure I’m about to see him dry hump your ass.”

I flipped him the bird, but I was smiling so widely my face hurt. Sharing Sera with him was right.

It felt right in my soul. Like she had been hand delivered by the Ghost of Laura, or fate or the universe, just for the four of us.

But Judas and Goliath weren’t going to be easily swayed. Didn’t matter. I would love her enough for ten men.

The baby kicked beneath my hand, and Sera winced, looking down at her stomach. “Don’t worry about it, kid. Not like I needed my liver anyway.” She sighed deeply. “As much as I want to cuddle, I need to pee. And pancakes.”

I laughed and kissed the back of her neck, then I shifted off the bed, watching her stand on shaky legs and head to the bathroom.

I looked at Sol and saw the same expression that was probably on my face. Awe. Fear.

Dumbstruck.

“Cain…”

I nodded. “Yeah man, me too.”

I pulled my clothes on, and waited until she came out of the bathroom. “I’ll go have a shower in my room, maybe get changed out of these clothes before our ride. I’ll see if I can get Sweetie to bring up some pancakes. Want them here or in your room?”

She looked over her shoulder at Sol, who was still lying naked on his bed, though he’d pulled a

sheet up over his junk.

“I think I’ll stay and have a nap here for a bit.”

I leaned forward and kissed her. “A nap. Sure. Is that what we’re calling it now?”

I heard the sweet sound of her laugh in my ears even after I’d shut the door to Sol’s room behind me.

SERENDIPITY

Istood out the front of the Clubhouse, wearing stretchy waist denim jeans, a skeleton face mask around my neck and one of Cain’s oversized hoodies. There was no way leathers were going to go up over my stomach, and besides, this was big, warm and still smelled faintly of the man himself. I tilted my face to the setting sun, letting it warm my skin, a weird feeling in my chest. It might have been the baby kicking me in the lungs, but it felt an awful lot like happiness. Even thinking the word made me panic though. Happiness was just the precursor to misery in my experience I pushed the thought away as the leader of Damnation MC rolled to a stop in front of me. Solomon was next, and I could see Cain getting on his bike where it sat in front of the workshop. Goliath was the last to appear, staring daggers at me like this ride had been my idea.

Uh no. I’d been quite happy pressed between two big, sweaty, tattooed bikers. I’m pretty sure that was the worst case scenario for a lot of women, but I enjoyed the fuck out of it. All eyes turned to Solomon, and I remembered he was Road Captain. Apparently, what he said went when it came to a ride, even one this small.

“You better ride with the Pres, Dippy. Cain has already taken you for a ride today,” he said, his half smirk making me narrow my eyes and heat flood my panties all at the same time. Sexy ass.

Judas narrowed his good eye at Solomon, but shifted forward a little on his bike. Apparently, Sol’s word really was gospel on a ride. I walked gingerly toward the Chopper that Judas rode, its body long and sleek, its high handlebars showing off Judas’ impressive biceps in his tight black tee.

He looked like a wet dream. I threw Sol another annoyed look and lifted my leg over the leather seat, settling myself a few inches away from his back. When I grabbed his sides, I felt his muscles bunch under my hands.

Judas confused the shit out of me. I couldn’t work out if he liked me or loathed me. At least I knew where I stood with Goliath. Apart from that ill-timed kiss, he had made his hatred of me thoroughly known. But Judas sat in the grey area.

Fuck it. Why was I worried about how Judas felt? I was one lucky bitch already. I had Cain and Solomon, and quite frankly that was enough. Things were better in twos. Two hands. Two feet. Two holes. See?

I did not need to collect the whole set.

“Let’s head to that seafood place on the other side of the lake,” he told Solomon, and I couldn’t help it when my hands flattened out just so I could feel the rumble of his words in his chest. He tensed beneath my hands and I curled my fingers into fists, gripping his shirt. This was going to be so damn awkward. I made a mental note to punch Sol in the dick next time he was in arm’s reach.

Sol grinned at me as if he knew my murderous thoughts, kicked his bike into gear and roared away. Goliath went next, then Cain. Judas and I brought up the rear. When we turned onto the freeway and the guys kicked it up a notch, I threw my arms out and laughed.
