“A habit I’ve broken her of,” Sharp states, confidently.

“What’s in it for you?” I suddenly ask, not understanding how anyone would want to be near Cyn.

“Really?” He raises an eyebrow. “You want me to spell out the advantages of having a warm, willing woman in my bed?”

My eyes widen. No, I do not. That’s my fucking sister.

“If she stays, you take full responsibility for her.” Lost stares at Sharp.

“And keep her out of my fuckin’ way,” I throw at him. Cyn stay? Her betrayal thrust in mine and Saffie’s face every day? At the least, she should be banished. But both Lost and Sharp have made good points. At home, she’d be made to think she was nothing again, and who knows what she would say about us?

“Your choice, Niran.” Lost spins the gun on his desk.

Even after everything she’s done, I can’t say I want her dead.

I take in a deep breath. “If Sharp’s serious and thinks he can control her, she gets one more chance.”

“I’ve got her.” Sharp exhales a breath, and his face starts to relax.

“You want to patch her? ‘Cause I’m not certain she’d get any votes.”

Sharp snorts. “One step at a time, Prez. No, I’m not of the mind to patch her, even if she would be accepted. But let’s see where this goes. Right now, I kind of like her.”

Prez huffs loudly. “Fuck, I’m not into killing bitches. One was enough. But Niran’s right. She gets one more shot at fitting into the club. And Brother?” He stares at Sharp. “Her behaviour is on you.”

Sharp nods. “I accept that.”
