Page 120 of Pack: Posy 3

Nodding again, he tugged off his t-shirt and knelt to untie his shoes, and I looked at the rest of my mates. Their wolves glittered in their eyes, but they remained in their human forms.

Just like that, my anger exploded into fury - something I'dneverexperienced before - and I nearly staggered at its intensity. It was terrifyingly powerful. I felt like I could slap the Devil off his throne and rule Hell myself.

Whoa. No wonderQuartz is so dangerous when he's furious!

Thinking of him, something he told me during a snuggle session came back to me.

My mates were each the alphas of their own pack as well as Five Fangs, but I was luna of all six of them.Me. Posy Anne Everleigh.Iwas the only person, male or female, in the whole world with access to that much power.

Which meant these wolves were going to listen to me.

Getting Lark to help, I reached deep into all five mate bonds until I found the immense well of moon power behind each alpha. I called it all to me and boomed it out with one word.

"SHIFT!"

The sounds of shredding fabric made me spin around, and I held in a groan at what was happening behind me. I hadn't thought to direct all that power only at my mates, and now everyone in the training center was shifting, except Angelo and Thoreau, who had nothing to shift into, and Landry, who was still unconscious.

Oh, well, Lark snickered.Nothing you can do about it now. ’Sides, after this, theyallneed run. Need blow off steam. Just roll with it, girl.

Shaking my head, I turned back to my mates.

"Now, go run. As far and as long as you need to until both man and wolf are calm and sensible again. Only then can you come home and not a second before."

I asked Ty to come here,Jayden linked me. He's on his way. I know Gelo and Reau are here, but Ty is your friend as well as your beta. I thought he could—

It's fine, dragon,I told him and sent him a wave of love that he immediately returned.

Looking around, I saw seventeen wolves and four songbirds sitting and staring at me, but not moving, so I drew in a deep breath and marched over to the door. Flinging it open, I gathered up all that moon power again and threw it at them one more time.

"GO!"

I pointed my index finger outside, and a colorful herd of furry bodies ran past me at high speed, the witches following on fluttering wings, and I was left with a smirking Angelo, a jaw-dropped Thoreau, and a knocked-out Landry.

Sighing, I took a second to close my eyes and rub the skin between my eyebrows with the tips of my fingers.

"I'm proud of you, luna," Angelo said softly as he and Thoreau padded over to me. "You did good."

My heart still hurt, but as the adrenaline faded, fear and worry hounded me.

"Was I too harsh?" I asked and bit my bottom lip.

"I don't know how you held back as long and as much as you did," he grunted. "Arrogant dumbasses."

"Bad word, Gelo!" Thoreau shook his finger at him, then hugged me.

"Sorry, Reau. Luna, I would have done the same thing. Your mates should have followed Alpha Jayden's example and praised you, not scolded you."

"Yeah, they deserved it," Thoreau agreed with wide, serious eyes. "They were being meanies, and no one is allowed to hurt luna, not even her alphas."

Then he surprised me by dropping a tiny kiss on each of my cheeks.

"Good girl kisses for luna."

"Thank you, Reau."

"Don't forget my good boy kiss, though," he whispered.

"Never, sweetie." Despite everything, I smiled. "Come down again."
