"Will you please come here?" I asked, keeping my voice soft and low.

With one bounding leap, Garnet landed on his feet to stand over me. He carefully laid down and his soft chest fur tickled my face as he pushed me flat on my back and covered my whole body. When he stuffed his snout in my neck and sniffed me, I combed my fingers through his shaggy belly hair, inhaling his campfire scent.

I don't want to lose this.

You're not going to lose me or Mason,Garnet vowed. Never. We belong to you and Lark forever.

I wasn't convinced. If my other mates had turned against me, why wouldn't Mason and Jayden?

"Are you sure you don't want to get rid of me, too?"

I should shift andshowyou how much I don't want to get rid of you!Mason growled.Let the betas watch me take their luna over and over, in as many ways as possible and as many times as it takes until you believe I love you and want you! You're my mate and I am never letting you go!Never!

A hiccup slipped out before I could stop it, and tears followed. Garnet licked them from my cheeks with a soft whimper.

"What did I do wrong, Mason?" I sobbed and clung to Garnet.

Nothing, baby. Not one thing. I don't know what that was about, but I know none of what Cole said is how he truly feels. Iknowit.

"And Ash and Wyatt? Why don't they want me anymore?"

They do. They want you, little flower,he crooned.

"I thought marking you all tied you to me until I died. Why is this happening?"

It does. I don't know, but I'm going to figure it out. I'll fix this, Posy, I swear.

I cried for a long time, and neither of them lost their patience. While I hugged Garnet, Mason murmured soothing things and how much he loved me and wanted me.

"Excuse me, luna. I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have some clothes and shoes for the alpha," I heard a voice say from my left side.

Turning my head, I peeked out from under Garnet to see Poppy kneeling down next to me.

"Alpha Mason, you're probably going to want to shift." Leo came up and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Ariel and Maria will be here in a few minutes, and they have alphas Ash and Wyatt with them."

My eyes wide, I asked Garnet to let me up. He did, then sorted a pair of boxers out of the pile of fabric and disappeared behind a tree. I wiped at my face, feeling disgusting. My throat hurt, my eyes were raw and gritty, and my cheeks were sticky with tears and probably snot.

"Here, luna," Poppy murmured.

Blinking, I looked over and saw her holding out a wet piece of fabric. Her other hand held up a water bottle.

"Sorry. A strip off of Leo's shirt was the best I could do for a washcloth."

"Thank you," I whispered.

Taking it, I did my best to clean my face. She took the cloth and wet it again, then wiped my chin and neck. Dropping that piece, she handed me another strip of her mate's shirt.

"Blow your nose," she instructed.

I did what she said, then stuffed the makeshift hanky in my pocket.

"Sorry, Leo. I'll buy you a new shirt." I looked up at him.

"Luna, I am happy to sacrifice a t-shirt for your comfort."

Then Mason returned. He lifted me off the ground and crushed me against his chest as if I would disappear if he didn't hold me tightly enough. His face dove into the crook of my neck and he sighed.

"Alpha Cole's eyes!" Tyler yelped suddenly, and I jerked in Mason's arms.
