Page 85 of Pack: Posy 3

My eyebrows climbed up my forehead as I sat down on the love seat, snuggling Lark on my lap.

"You have an idea, little wolf?" I murmured.

"To help Posy, yes."

"All right, sugar, we're all ears." Cole gave her a soft smile. "What's your idea?"

"Well," her cheeks flared red, "I mate with one of my wolves in this body and him in yours. My girl sees that there is no danger and feels safe."

"If you have not done this before, it may cause a deeper issue," Dr. York warned us.

All of our cheeks now matched Lark's as we rememberedthatafternoon.

Sammiches, I thought dreamily, and Granite purred with happiness.

"We have," Mase said bluntly. "You believe this is a good idea?"

"Yes. For the reasons Lark mentioned, but also because it will help luna begin to separate you individually from that collective you we discussed earlier, which will further distance her connection between you and her abuser."

"I'm game to try," I smirked.

"Well, it won't be withGran." Mase gave me The Look. "No way would he be able to contain himself enough to do what we need."

"Remember, alphas, this is all theory. You are the first group of mates of this size I've ever heard of, so there are no cases to study for information or advice." Dr. York sighed and shook his head. "If you want to try this, which of your wolves can be the most gentle or even submissive to Lark?"

All our heads turned to Ash, who looked startled at the concentrated attention.

"What?" he asked.

"Sid," Mase, Cole, Jay and I said together.

"He'll be perfect," Jay clarified. "He was so tender and careful with Lark and responded well to guidance."

His eyes filling up, Ash covered his mouth with both hands and shook his head.

"Ican't. I can't see her like that again because of me," he mumbled under his fingers.

"You can and youwill," Cole declared. "It's about Posy, not you!"

"His feelings are valid, Alpha Cole," Dr. York interjected in a mild tone. "It's neither healthy nor kind to dismiss or belittle them."

Cole pouted at being chastised and crossed his arms over his chest.

Doctor lucky not to eat Cole's fist, Granite giggled, and I smirked.

"It will be Sid in control," Mase reminded Ash. "You'll just be along for the ride."

"And youlikegoing for a ride, don't you?" I snickered.

"Shut up, douche!"

"I sorry. I no mean to upset anyone." Lark sounded like she might start to cry, and I held her closer.

"Shh. He didn't mean it like that," I whispered in her ear.

"No, no, no, little doll!" Ash dropped his hands from his face. "I'm not upset! Sid would love to be with you that way, but are yousurePosy won't panic?"

"She no panic," Lark said, "but if she do, I promise I tell you and Sid."
