Curious about our gammas' new mates, I asked Reuben when and where Nick and Adam met the fairies.

This morning, he chuckled.We gammas met for lunch yesterday, and Emmeline told Grace about this new cake shop that opened in Greenville a few weeks ago. It's called Fairy Cakes and—

No way!Wyatt grinned.They didn't name it that!

Yeah, they did,Reuben chuckled.Anyway, Emmeline talked it up so much yesterday that Adam decided he'd get his parents' anniversary cake from there. This morning, Nick tagged along with him to put in the order. By the moon, I wish we all had! I would have paid good money to see Adam tongue-tied and red-faced in front of his new mate!

As Wyatt and Jay snickered, I shushed them and asked Reuben to continue.

Anyway, Rio and Emmeline had a cookout this evening for the gammas and the betas, so we all got the chance to meet them. They're twenty years old and came here because they dreamed of opening this cake shop all their lives, but knew they'd never get enough business in the Woodland Realm. Alpha Jay, remember those pixies you and Gelo rescued from that prison?

Reuben sent an image through the link, and Jay and Wyatt howled with laughter as Cole and I chuckled.

Georgie told Adam they'll be gone by morning,Reuben said,but no one's telling Matthew that.

Sounds like Adam has his hands full.I was wary about this pairing, but trusted that the Moon Goddess had given our bashful gamma the mate he needed.What about the other one? Nick's mate?

Regina. She goes by Reggie.The picture he linked us was identical to Georgina's except this girl had lilac hair and calm, quiet eyes.She's a female version of Adam. At first, I was worried that she was some haughty piece because she wouldn't look at any of us and didn't speak. Like, at all. It only took us a few minutes, though, to realize she has a crippling degree of shyness.

Hmm. Do you think she suffered some sort of trauma?Jay wondered in the alpha link.

Shyness can be natural,Wyatt pointed out.Look at Adam. He never had anything horrible happen in his life, and he's awkward as hell around most people, especially if they're females.
