When Posy finally stopped grilling his wife, Lincoln took a deep breath and cupped his niece's face in his hands.

"Logan would have loved you so much," he said in a husky tone. "Same with Dad. I just wish—"

His voice cut out as he began to cry, and his mate put her arms around him and led him to a chair, where they sat together and he wept on her shoulder.

"If we knew you existed," Alberta picked up, "we would have fought tooth and nail to bring you here. To have you with us. I would have loved and spoiled and treasured you as much as my other grandchildren."

"Spoiled?" the younger boy piped up with a grin, obviously looking to lighten the mood. "We're not spoiled! You'll give her the wrong impression of us."

"Oh, you're a spoiled boy and you know it," Alberta grinned through her tears. "Posy, these are your cousins, Link and Aye's children. The cheeky boy is Evan, and Eden is his twin. They're seventeen."

"Hello!" Posy twisted her fingers together, clearly unsure of them.

"Nice to meet you, cousin!" Evan practically shouted before he caught her up in a bear hug and swung her around.

All of us growled as Posy's body went stiff, and the boy set her on her feet quickly, shooting nervous glances our way.

Idiot!Wyatt thundered.

He should have asked her first!Cole snarled.

Keep it together, I cautioned them.

If he triggers a panic attack, I'll—

We never got to hear what Ash would do because Posy giggled, the sound like silver bells on a cold, clear night, and that settled us right down.

"Don't piss off her mates, dumbass," hissed Eden before approaching Posy with a smile. "Hi, Posy. Forgive my twin. He's enthusiastic about everything, even waking up to go to school in the morning."

She shuddered, as if that were a fate worse than death, and Posy giggled again before hugging her.

"My oldest brother, Ethan, would like to meet you, too," Eden said, "but he's worried you'll be scared of him."

"Why would I be?" she asked.

"He looks dangerous." Eden shrugged. "Sometimes he even is when his wolf, Maple, gets upset. But he's a good guy, I promise."

Posy looked over her shoulder at us with wide eyes, and we all gave her reassuring smiles.

We're here, little flower, I murmured through the mate bond.Nothing and no one will harm you.

I know. She smiled, her dimples flashing us, then turned back to her cousin.

"I'd like to meet him. Is he here?"

Eden nodded and her eyes unfocused as she obviously linked her brother.

A few seconds later, a tall guy walked into the room. Smelling of gamma blood, his face was closed and cold, wolf light flickered in his eyes, and, if King Julian hadn't given us a heads-up, I would have deemed him too dangerous to even be in the same room as our girl.

He stopped about a foot inside the door and his gold-shot black eyes fixed on Posy's face.

"Hello." His wolf underscored his voice, turning it into a rumbly growl. "I'm Ethan Everleigh. I'm happy to meet you."

"Hi, Ethan." Posy held her hand up and curled her fingers at him in an adorable little wave.

"I remember your brothers." A bead of sweat ran down Ethan's cheek as his wolf glittered a little more in his eyes. "I have a very clear memory of playing tag with them in Grandma's backyard. It was a warm evening and the sun was starting to set. James was it, and Aiden and I were laughing as we ran away from him."

"Oh! Next time I talk to them, I'm going to ask if either of them remembers you!" Posy smiled, then looked around at her new family members. "In fact, I think they would love to meet you all. Even better, why don't you come to the Swift family reunion next weekend at Crystal Caverns?"
