“No,” Enid said. “You stay here.” She kissed Caroline quickly. “I’ll call you later.”
Caroline held Enid’s face in her hands and leaned into her.
“Let me take care of you,” she whispered into Enid’s ear. “Shower?”
Enid shook her head and replied, “Later.”
“Babe…” Caroline’s eyes widened.
“Sleeping,” Viv reminded loudly.
“Dinner tonight,” Enid said before she kissed Caroline again and leaned into her ear this time. “I’ll take care ofmyselfwhen I get home,” she whispered.
Caroline glared at her, which only made Enid laugh.
“Sleeping!”
Enid and Caroline both laughed at that, and then Enid jumped down and quickly grabbed her bra, underwear, and other things.
“Close the sketchbook on Care’s desk, please,” Viv requested from her position of lying on her side, facing the wall.
Enid quickly turned to glance at Caroline’s desk, where the sketchbook was indeed open, and her eyes widened. Caroline nearly cackled at her reaction, so Enid threw Caroline’s underwear up at her after picking them off the floor and moved to the desk, where she stared down at the near-finished drawing of her naked body. She pulled the cover of the sketchbook down and sighed.
“Not bad, Enid,” Viv noted.
“Not bad? She’s hot as hell,” Caroline replied.
“Then, it’s yoursketchthat’s not bad,” Viv added.
“Hey!” Caroline laughed.
“Sleeping!” Viv said louder.
Enid moved to the bed, and Caroline leaned down over the side to kiss her.
“I’ll call you.”
“In two hours,” Viv stated.
“Viv, you can’t say you’re sleeping if you’re not actually sleeping,” Caroline replied. “And you can’t control when my girlfriend calls me.” She laughed.
“Two hours,” Viv repeated.
Enid laughed and stared into Caroline’s beautiful eyes.
“It’s much better than not bad. Way better than the one you did of Brooke.”
“Viv didn’t even see the up-close one I did,” Caroline replied, wiggling her eyebrows.
“And she never will,” Enid stated before she kissed Caroline’s forehead. “Bye, babe.”
“Bye,” Caroline replied.
Enid made sure that she had all of her things before she opened the door to go and closed it behind her.
“Girlfriend, huh?” She heard Viv say from the other side of it.
The moment Enid’s feet hit the sidewalk, she got a text notification. Assuming it was Caroline, she pulled the phone out of her pocket and saw that it was Rory instead.
