“Hear anything interesting?” I lift an eyebrow in challenge.

Let’s see how honest she’ll be with a simple question, but I develop into serious shit like her actually being a virgin.

“Not a fucking thing!” She sighs out and covers her face to hide her blush.

I chuckle and walk into the room, closing the door to seal us in.

The air charges with tension when she peeks over her fingers at me demurely, and I can’t help the thought that runs through my mind. I want to ruin her and rob her of that innocence she’s staring at me with.

I want to fulfill her every desire and fantasy, but first, I need to understand why she’s been saving it for so long.

“Why are you still a virgin?”

LEAH

“That’s a rather rude question to ask someone.” I mean, honestly, I could probably give him the meaning of life before I could come up with a way to explain why my head is so fucked up.

“Can’t help you get rid of it if I don’t understand why you kept it.” My eyes widened.

Surely, I misheard him.

“Get rid of it?” I shake my head in disbelief.

“You seemed upset early at waking up between Kai and me and it still being intact. I thought that meant you wanted to lose it. If I was wrong, my apologies.” He shrugs like it’s no big deal to him either way.

“Wait a goddamn minute. You can’t make an offer like that like it’s a business deal.” She smirks.

“Why not? Nova does it all the time.” I open my mouth to argue and then shut it promptly because he’s right.

Women pay top dollar for Nova to deflower them.

“Maybe I should call him,” I muse in thought.

“Over my dead body,” Seer growls as he prowls closer to me.

“Eep!” I move up the bed until my back hits the headboard.

“Scared?” He crawls onto the bed slowly like a cat but is very careful not to touch me while he gets situated on my left.

“No?” My voice fucking squeals, and I close my eyes in shame.

Good job, Leah. If you’re gonna lie, you need to sound confident.

“Right,” his chuckle does something to my libido, and my nipples harden.

FUCK!

“Leah?” I glance up, and his face is way closer than I thought.

“Mm?” I pin my lips together before I beg him to kiss me.

“How much experience do you have with sex? Why on earth would you study the subject as your future profession if you haven’t actually done it?” He reaches up and tucks my hair behind my ear.

It’s a simple, sweet gesture, but my body starts to tremble with a need I’ve only ever read about in books.
