A small, warm hand wraps around my bicep. The scent of perfume floats into my nose. A low sultry voice purrs against my ear, making my skin crawl. “Are you looking for me?” The woman presses her chest against my back.

“Get your fucking hands off me.” I ground out through clenched teeth.

The woman tsks and I turn my head. I notice the new dance instructor hovering over my back, invading my space. She takes a step back, naked as the day she was born, her ample chest proudly on display, her flat toned stomach quivers in anticipation and the landing strip leading to her lady bits is the same blonde as her hair. Her bright blue eyes are dark with desire. “Did I snag myself a Royal Bastard?” She breathes heavily.

I stand up quickly before this woman can throw herself at me and leave the locker room. Holy shit. What the hell was that all about?

I hurry to my bike and send a text to Red.

AFTERMATH

It’s been a few days since that bitch came on to me and I haven’t told Kensi about it. The guilt is eating away at me, but nothing happened so why should I worry her when there isn’t anything to worry about?

Torch, Daisy, Derange and Jezebelle are playing pool, while Nadia with Matthew, Monica, Kensi and Danyella are working on wedding shit on the large dining room table. Capone, Blayze, Trigger and Dagger are playing darts, while Tiny with his new kitten, Peanut, are sitting with some bunnies on the couch. Syvannah and Exleigh are holed up in their room. They’re taking the trauma they endured day by day. Some days are good and some days are bad. The Prospects Seth and Knight are tending bar, while Bones and Pretty Boy are sitting at the gates. Seth and Knight will be heading out there in a little while to relieve Bones and Pretty Boy. The only person missing right now is Red, who’s cooped up in his communications room searching for Lattimer, Rose and Jax, Torch’s twin brother and wife, I think. Everyone is laughing, talking, listening to music and having a good time. It’s been a while since everyone has been relaxed and I take it all in while sitting at the bar drinking a beer. My eyes connect with Kensi and she offers me a secret smile that tells me I’m going to be up for a long night, in more ways than one.

Once the game of darts is over, Capone whistles, quieting the chatter down. “We need a store run,” Capone shouts. I duck my head, hoping he doesn’t notice me. I fucking hate store runs. Being cooped up in a cage with two patch bunnies is not my idea of fun. “Thanks for volunteering, Aftermath. Take Pearl and Lexi with you. They have the list of shit we need.”

I grumble but nod my head, “Aye, Prez.” Pearl is a good woman but I think she is hiding from something or someone. The last time we had a bunny hide in our Clubhouse, Torch found his twin he didn’t know about, Jax.

Pearl climbs off Tiny’s lap and sways her hips towards me. If I didn’t get to know Pearl, I’d think she was trying to tempt me, but she isn’t. It’s just the way she walks. Like sexy confidence is bred into her and it’s a natural thing for her. “I’ll get Lexi and then we can leave.” The rasp of Pearl’s voice breaks through my thoughts.

“I’ll be right here.” I give her a quick smile, but not anything to where she’d think I was hitting on her. That’s not me and never will be.

“We should be ready in like ten minutes.” Pearl acknowledges and saunters off to the back of the Clubhouse where the Patch Bunnies stay. Kensi smirks before returning her attention to what Danyella is saying. The little minx is going to pay for that later. I swallow the last of my beer and rise from the stool when Pearl and Lexi come out of their room. They head for the garage and I take a detour toward Kensi. Turning her chair around, I lean over Kensi, getting an eyeful of her cleavage while boxing her in her chair. Our lips are a breath apart when Kensi darts her pink tongue out to lick hers, driving me insane.

“I’ll be back in a few.” I lean my forehead against hers and block out all the other noises around us. It’s just Kensi and me.

“Be safe,” she whispers against my lips causing my body to quiver with want, lust and love for this woman. She is the only person in my life who cares about my safety except for my mom and the Royal Bastards. My heart pounds against my chest as it swells for the love I have for this woman.

“You know I will.” I kiss Kensi roughly, claiming her as mine and mine alone. When I pull away and look around, all the women’s eyes are on us shining with adoration. Kensi giggles, her multi-colored eyes lighting up with mischief. “Stay out of trouble while I’m gone.”

“You know I’ll try,” she counters. I kiss her again and walk away before I can’t.

The trip to the grocery store was uneventful. Lexi sat in the back of the Club's cage while Pearl sat up front. Both women have their hair fixed to perfection, their makeup flawless and they’re both wearing RBMC t-shirts with black leggings. They know when they’re out in public, no matter what they choose to do behind their doors, they are to represent us with the highest regard.

Pulling into a parking spot, I shut the SUV off and climb out. Lexi and Pearl do the same. I scan our surroundings making sure it’s safe for the two women while we head inside.

“I’ll grab a cart.” Pearl offers but I shake her off. Even though I hate grocery runs, I won’t be a dick and make them push the cart.

“I got it. You ladies get what we need and I’ll follow.” I grab a cart from the corral and wouldn’t it be my fucking luck, the wheel is busted. Pearl giggles, covering her mouth with the palm of her hand while Lexi smirks. These two are completely opposite, but they make their friendship work. While Pearl is tall and slender with long, straight, light blonde, almost white hair and skin so light, you’d think she was an albino, Lexi is the complete opposite. She’s short, maybe pushing five foot two, with dark sun-kissed skin, long onyx curls, a full-figured woman with curves in all the right places.

Pearl sways her hips while she walks and looks items over very carefully before placing them in the cart, while Lexi grabs shit off the shelf and doesn’t give a fuck what it is or how much it costs. She hates shopping just as much as I do.

We’re almost finished and I’m fidgeting with my squeaky cart that’s getting on my last nerve when we turn down the last aisle and I almost run into someone. “Oh, sorry,” I grunt without looking up.

A giggle escapes the woman, “No worries Mr. Biker Man, it seems we keep on running into each other.” The seductive voice makes my head snap up. Pearl and Lexi stop what they’re doing and watch the woman with hate-filled eyes. “Only this time, I’m wearing clothes.” She shrugs her shoulders and saunters away not waiting for my response. “That sucks for me this time, 'cause I remember last timereal well.” She calls over her shoulder and before I can respond and call her a liar, the blonde woman is gone.

“What the fuck was that?” Pearl asks, settling her hands on her hips. She looks like she wants to throw down and it won’t matter if it’s me or someone else.

“Not your business.” I grit out through clenched teeth. “Are we fucking done yet?” I growl.

“Whatever.” Pearl rolls her eyes and places the last item in our cart.

The three of us don’t speak a word while we check out and head to the cage. I’m still fighting the broken tire, making my mood turn pissy. Pearl and Lexi get into the SUV, neither one talking to me but sure are giving me death glares. Once I have all the groceries loaded into the back, I slam the trunk down. My mood went from bad to worse when the squeaky tire decides to be a little fucker and I don’t look where I’m going.
