“Take your hands off my mate.” Anatoly leaned on Sylvester’s desk, looking at his nails. “Before I hurt you.”
“And just who the fuck are you?” Matlin sneered.
“I thought that was obvious when I said, ‘my mate,’ but clearly not,” Anatoly told him. “I am Kael’s mate, and we’re leaving.”
“No.” Sylvester grabbed Kael, but strangely, Kael wasn’t afraid. He kept his eyes locked on Anatoly and knew he would be fine.
Sighing, Anatoly walked over to Sylvester and murmured, “Release him or die.”
Kael’s eyes widened, and he tried to look at Sylvester, but before he could, Sylvester shoved him to one side and hit Anatoly. Or tried to. Anatoly ‘ported next to Kael. “Silly alpha.”
Kael waved, then he was standing in their living room, thousands of miles away. “I thought you would hit him.”
“Why waste energy on someone like him? We’re home now, and your family will be here in a few hours. Why don’t we rest until they arrive?”
“You mean have sex.” Kael leaned back when Anatoly kissed his neck.
“Why, yes I do.” Anatoly licked Kael’s lips. “And we have plenty of time to try a few things.”
“Like?” Kael let Anatoly push his coat off, then raised his arms when Anatoly tugged his T-shirt off. “Like me sitting on this chair and you riding my dick.”
Kael breathed out. “Oh! I haven’t done that.” He grinned. “I haven’t done anything except what I’ve done with you.”
Chuckling softly, Anatoly whispered, “In a few days, you won’t be able to say that, will you?”
“Are we going to spend all our time having sex?” Kael tilted his head back when Anatoly licked down his neck, gasping when Anatoly sucked a mark on his skin.
“Yes. I have a gorgeous sexy mate and intend to make him come as often as possible.”
Kael laughed, then groaned. “I think I like that idea.”
“Hmm. Me too.” Anatoly lifted his head and smiled. “Let’s fuck.”
Laughing, Kael threw his arms around Anatoly’s neck. “Let’s.”
EPILOGUE
“Come on, Kael,” Aled shouted.
“I can’t go as fast as you. I’m having a baby!” Kael shouted back.
“You should be used to it. This is your third one. Maybe you two should stop having sex!” Aled laughed and ran off, leaving Kael behind.
“Is your brother annoying you?” Anatoly took hold of Kael’s hand and walked with him to the picnic area near the town center. It was a beautiful summer’s day, and the town was having a festival where everyone came together to eat, drink, and relax. Both their parents were already there with all the children, which now numbered seven, after Gabrielle and Abram had their fifth.
After their move, Kael’s family had met Alpha Abram, who’d welcomed them to the pack, and within a week, they’d had a home. Both his parents had jobs, and he and Aled were back in school. Kael heard Sylvester had tried to find them, but Abram had never acknowledged the request after it had been sent to all pack alphas. “His loss,” had been his response before deleting the email.
“He’s Aled, so yes, he is.” Kael accepted Anatoly’s kiss with a soft sigh. “Love you.”
“Love you too.” Anatoly ran his hand over Kael’s belly. “And I love this little one too.”
“We should have a gap before we have another.”
“Agreed. Three in four years…” Anatoly chuckled. “I love you and our family. Thank you for mating me.”
It was something Anatoly said often, and Kael cherished his mate for it. Not a day went by that he didn’t feel Anatoly’s love for him and their growing family. Mating his vampire had been the best thing Kael had done.
“I’ll show you later how much I love you.” Kael kissed him. “Now I think we have some parents to rescue.”
