He laughed. “An incredibly sexy man whom I am crazy about wants to have sex with me. It should have been a sure bet in your mind.”

“Well, I assumed.”

“I’m amazed I hadn’t been interrupted.”

My phone chirped.

ANGUS

Five-minute warning, there is a customer issue.

TYLER

Your boss should be happy the rest of the evening. Thank you.

ANGUS

I should ask for a raise.

I chuckled and set down my phone.

West raised his eyebrow. “What’s so funny?”

“Angus says you have five minutes to get back out there.” While we fixed our clothes, I noticed his lips were puffy, and he had a hickey on his neck, which I was sure his staff would notice, but I knew he wouldn’t care. He pulled a taco out and ate it in three bites.

“You had Angus run interference while you seduced me?”

“Yes, I did.” I was pretty proud of myself.

“Excellent plan. I should give him a raise.”

His comment made me laugh again. “Now I see why he is your security, he knows how you think.”

He pulled me against him, kissed me softly, then smoothed a lock of hair off my forehead. “I promise Spark should be back full-time in the next few days, and we can have sex more often. We will work something out since our schedules are opposite.”

“I understand. This was good, though. If we get busy again like this, I will be down for a quickie here and there if needed.” That made him smile.

“Yeah? That’s good to know. Really good to know. I didn’t want to assume.”

“You are such a gentleman.” He kissed me again.

“I need to get back to work. You should check on Charlie. They are in the break room, and you can eat back there if you want to. I couldn’t leave them home, even though they are no longer on milk.”

“Okay. Take care of the people. I.. Lo… Locate me if you have time.” That was a stupid sentence.

“I will…locate you as well…and let me know when you leave.” He just smiled and left his office.

Charlie was in the break room, and every time I saw them, I couldn’t believe how big they were compared to when West first found them. It had only been a month, but they were a genuine kitten now, and we were pretty sure Charlie was a male, but we were waiting a bit longer to confirm.

“You’re other Daddy has done a great job taking care of you, kiddo.” I kissed their little head a few times, thinking about how much I liked that West and I were cat dads together. It sucked that Spark was still gone, I wanted to take West home and cuddle with him all night. I admitted that to myself, and that showed how deep I was when it came to the West.

I kissed and snuggled the kitten a bit longer, then headed out. As soon as I returned to the bar area, West greeted me. He stopped everything he was doing and gave me a bright, brilliant smile. It made my heart flutter and skip a beat. Holy shit the things he did to me.

“Hello, Sexy.” He said in my ear as he pulled me close. Knowing he didn’t mind showing me affection in front of his employees and everyone in the bar made me feel wanted and cared for. It was something I wasn’t familiar with.

“I’m heading home. I have a wedding tomorrow. I will be working quite late.”

He pulled me closer against him and kissed me softly. “I’m really, REALLY glad you stopped by tonight. You are filled with great ideas.”
